am I reading this correct... if you close account you can only withdraw up to 20% of the safety buffer? WTF!

yep go ahead everything is good about them. Also subscribe topsteptv and regularly check theri schedule they have fire drill, bell to bell or some other events where they give free account Reset. Handy when you mess up.

Yea if you violate daily dd rule they don't pay you or pay 20%

not sure about ninja but for tradovate was in minutes.

I'm fine with that, but if you didn't violate any rules but just want to close the account... you will only get 20% of the 2.6K (50K)?

Why anyone wants to close the account? It is one time PA fees. No one except APEX allows withdrawal threshold. So first 2.6K is anyways not for the trader

Well not good option as long will have -7% on long so best is to short any highs.

Darwinex Zero update

I just received this email showing that I am now eligible for 30K in seed capital as I've reached the minimum rating of 75.0. However, on the website for my Darwin it doesn't show the 30K allocation yet. Maybe the daily reset needs to happen first but I'm not really sure.

Also, my trade explorer shows a 22% gain but the actual gain after one month of trading is only 4.7K due to the risk factor adjustment which leads me to another question that I need to get some clarification on from Darwinex. My risk adjustment factor is now at a 0.2 so if I open a 1 lot position it will only send in a 0.2 lot position. BUT, by itself, a 1 lot position would fall well within Darwinex's target VaR range of 3.25-6.5%. So my question would be how long does the risk adjustment engine take to recognize that I stopped trading like a psychopath because in the meantime I can't really make much on my account unless I continue to trade 5-10 lots to account for the 80% reduction in position size?

Will report back with updated answers to these questions.

Important to remember that the trader only gets 15% profit share on the total allocation/investment so this is definitely a long term gig. If I can earn 5% on the account in the next month with a 30K allocation then my share would only be 225 Euros. That would pay for the initial sign up fee (105) and 3 months worth of subscription fees (38 per month x 3 = 114). However, I'd be happy with that as it would give me a good start on developing a long term track record in order to obtain a larger allocation from Darwinex with the ultimate goal of attracting real capital from real investors

I think you will get by month end. That's why most of people stops trading till it receives 75. I believe trader needs to reduce size for 1-2 month to recalibrate risk engine. I think they calculate overall open position with along with volatility adjustment.

Wow, 1 -2 months? That seems a bit long to me. I thought the engine would adjust in real time. In the meantime I would just be treading water while paying the monthly subscription fee.

Yep thats the real issue with silver accounts. Once gold account is received all gains are absolute.

so if I get this right you can use quantower to Topstep , Apex and more with the same trades using the copier ?

also commision free trading if you use TopStepx , I wonder if you pay 0 commissions when qualifying ..
