You still fail to understand that people are moving to futures because they were forced to (mainly US) and they won't be better off with a trailing DD.

I already had this doubt myself because I have basically 3 feeds: Interactive Brokers, AMP (with MT5) and now Apex (with Rithmic).
I'm not sure if they have systems to detect it using names and addresses or IPs, for example, as there is not a unique number like SS number (at least for non US).

have a look at oneuptrader, they have similar prices/drawdowns BUT trailing on balance NOT equity like Apex both in evaluation and funded account but only max 3 accounts unlike the 20 from Apex
also no data fees once funded

-If I had to guess, since you are using three different data providers, then it shouldn't be a problem.

If you have an account at AMP that uses Rithmic, and account at Optumus using Rithmic and then other accounts at other brokers etc., then maybe it could start to become a problem.

Probably, the prop shops have some agreement in place, though, so maybe those accounts could be treated differently. Obviously, Apex allows 20 accounts, and those accounts can be traded as a non-professional. In that case, maybe having 20 accounts at Apex and 20 accounts at Flexy might not be a problem.

Based on the fee structure at Apex, maybe they are already charging enough to cover professional fees, though. FlexyTrade seems to have a different pricing structure, and may be covering the fees themselves.

There's also the fact that the most of the trades are taking place on demo accounts, so maybe they are treated differently because of that, as well. Probably, if the accounts are demo, then there is no fee associated with that, but I'm not sure.

Quick reading would indicate that Rithmic, in particular, charges per connection or user ID. I assume that this would be for real-money accounts only. Easy money...

Professional CME feed is about 120 USD per month, give or take. If I was charged 3x (one for each AMP, IB and Apex) it's expensive. If I'm charged 20x just for Apex, then it's brutally expensive. That's something I will worry if that ever comes up. In the meantime it's just curiosity.

-Sorry, I edited my post many times. It's very early here. I think that we probably do not need to worry about having accounts with props unless we are put on live accounts. Anyone that is looking to trade with multiple props would want to confirm. If you are already classified as a professional due to your broker accounts, then that might be a problem, though.

It is my understanding that once a trader is placed on a live account at Apex, that they are no longer trading 20 accounts, but only just one, with a large balance. This would make sense, since having 20 live accounts would classify you as a professional, undoubtedly.

One thing to remember is that although trading Futures is generally more expensive, it is not so much different than trading FX. With FX, you are chaged commissions and you pay a ton via padded spreads; a lot more than people realize. The better conditions offered by Futures helps to balance things out, I suppose. In either case, there is always someone (usually multiple someones) trying to get our money.

i am still wth you 1 mil worth of challenges but only with top tier firms only… currently fundingtraders, e8, alpha and ftmo all mt5. Will buy fundedengineer, true forex 5%ers in next batch, FXIFY JUST SEND A APRIL OFFER BUT RECENTLY i HEARD ITS SLOWLY TAKING OUT PROFITABLE TRADERS SO NOT GONNA BUY THEM PLUS THEIR SLIPPAGE IS HORRIBLE

This apex trailing threshold is a real bummer … i was up 2k on a challenge account and it retraces to my breakeven and poof gone challenge account atleast the best part is its only 30 bucks

Have funding traders and funding peaks right now just received payout from funding traders on Friday to rise it has not hit the bank yet cause banks closed today. Only 1k though going to get a bigger challenge with them this week. I blew up the 5ers I forgot to add stop loss. Two is enough for me anyway. Anytime I add more than that I screw it up.

Some positive reviews after trading fundingtraders for 20 days. Their spreads are good with zero slippage specially for bitcoin. 2$ spread on bitcoin is holy grail for me.

i have passed 200k with fundingtraders waiting for 7 day requirements which will be done on Wednesday i guess. Another 200k phase 1 at 8% up. I am going really slow with the top tier firms challenges. Already 24 days on ftmo phase 1 and not even reached the 5% mark
