Gold will be moving into the 23xx area.
The dollar is very bearish on the USDX. The only way that would change is by breaking yesterday's high on the usdx 104.15 area. If gold is not telling you just look at the USDX daily. It will tell you. If that high gets broken, I'll change my mind. Good luck.

Once you've looked it up yourself, you can tell us what you found out.

I would gladly characterize myself as an expert, Im a fulltime trader for the last 18 years. Ive managed funds. I have not had another source of income in the last 15 years other than trading. Cheers

Gold has the potential to close above 2250 this week. I guess we have some news for USD today, If they are against the dollar It is even possible to close above 2300 for the week.

What is it that suggests to you that the US$ is bearish on the USDX vs the USDX is bearish or bullish?

2165 break above 2224 to 2238 is the final target..

ATM. Price won't go below 2192.

Something that really helps me when I get news wicks is to completely ignore them in certain situations. For example: Because nothing was changed during this news release and was mostly neutral language the wick to me is BS. So i block it out of my mind and chart and then just use the other points for trend lines per usual. I hope that makes sense and makes it more clear on your chart. Again, this only works if you get big wicks in the news that did not change things fundamentally. Cheers

Gold is still bullish!
Anyone going short should be quick in and out, with profit or loss, don't hold short. Don't think Gold is going down big time.
Might be better strategy to wait for pullback and find long opportunities.
