It was actually my vpn threat protection that flags its. 'Detected malicious code on web page blocked for your security' main website is fine, when I click to login error appears.

Care to explain why traders here buy demo accounts? with real money? I see a lot of traders do this here on FF... when do you actually get paid real money for trading for them? Are you paid in percentages or?

Ok thanks for the info. The copytrade functionality of quantower if appealing. Will look into it. The monthly fee for Australians is high however due to the exchange rate.

You pay a challenge fee. You stick with the allowed drawdowns, follow specific trading rules, you pass the challenge some firms will refund you the fee. If you fail, your fee is your loss.
When challenge is passed you trade for profit share on firms account you selected to trade. You will still trade requirements, but also share profits.Most likely 80-90% profit gain is your take

It's fun, cheap and allows you to grow your skills and make income.
To achieve good results you need to succeed as in trading your own account.

Yep, we can think about their business model trying to figure out how much is the equivalent static DD, in average.

Let's say I purchase 1 million 50K accounts with a 2500 trailing DD.

In some of them I don't even go positive and lose 2500, so 2500 of "static DD"
In some I go to 51000 so I only have 1500 left of "static DD"
In some I even go to 52500 so I don't have any "static" DD any more.

So, from my point of view (the trader), I need to guess how much is my "static" in average. Let's say it's only 1000 (conservative)

This means I have to get 3000 profit "static" with 1000 "static". 1:3 flip for the phase 1.

Then the same in the funded account to pass the 2600 threashold.

Another 1:3 flip (in fact it's a little better because it's only 2600 target / 1000 "average static DD" but let's keep it simple as 1:3).

This is 1:9 flip until I have the buffer and a real static 2500 DD.

How much the cost ? About $34 with 80% discount and $140 lifetime.

So $174 for a chance of 1:9 to have a real 2500 static DD.

So statistically I have to burn in average 9 accounts to get a real one with buffer.

It's $174 x 9 = $1566 cost for a 2500 "static" DD.

But this is if we can run a million accounts montecarlo....

Thank you for sharing that. You my friend a treasure trove of helpful information for which I appreciate. It seems trading in general is becoming littered with this time of nasty participants. Sadly, I see that as a never changing situation. Also is it a correct assumption that you favor forex over futures? Seems I remember reading that. If I'm wrong, please accept my apology. If you do favor futures over forex, I think I'm now understanding why as trading the futures account I have is much more relaxing & for the most part worry free from the usual nasty tricks being seen in the forex area at times. Yes, but that % changes dramatically when applied to people that can actually trade......same thing with the forex props and same thing with a personal account with a broker. Isn't it like 90% of accounts at brokers never see a withdrawal?
As I stated with the forex props, it is not the prop firm or the broker, it is the trader....of course, some firms/brokers set the rules to make it tougher and/or play dirty games but it is up to us to do our due dilligence and filter the good/better/best from the bad/worse/worst. There are some (very few nowdays) good ones out there and if you can trade.....you will make money.

Several reasons, the most important being I do not want to give it back and more importantly, I want to close at the peak balance due to the trail. There is also the 30% consistency rule. Hitting the same number every day makes me not even have to think about that. Once DD is static, I may change this. For now, I will trade my last reamaining forex prop or personal account for additional setups.

I'm passing at well above 50% and this is taking into account, I blew the first 4 YOLO'ing. $200 per day for 15 days or $300 for 10 days is the key. Close as close to peak balance as possible. Trailing won't be an issue.
