Hi, i want to start with any of these two firms , just want to ask if both the firms are still working good ?
also after using hft to pass challenge can you still use hft to trade funded account ?or you have to trade by yourself ,, what are you using atm.

-Agreed. We need a congressional hearing to investigate their misconduct so that appropriate legislation can be passed to prevent this from happening again. Punishing from within is not an option; they need to be held accountable by someone outside of their respected agencies. Restructuring may need to occur, along with reappointing new commissioners. There absolutely needs to be proper oversight and accountability.

But as always, in situations like this, what should be and what could be are often resolved to wishful thinking.

Only recently started with one challenge account on Apex, and it turned into a PA :-)

How often does Apex throw up these 90% discounts?

I dont remeber who uses AMP futures here maybe Capa or pipmaster but how is your experience with this broker in terms of withdrawals ect

They don't do 90% off that often anymore. 1st 1/2 of last year they routinely did them every 3 day US holiday weekend. Their heavy discounted eval + 1x Activation fee is simply in line with slightly discounted FX prop pricing for similar drawdown, but it's brilliant marketing! They figured out a way to get an avalanche of purchasers that will yolo over & over to their hearts desires @ lunch money prices. If they pass, then they pay the significantly higher activation fee. Live (really phase 2) is a completely different beast... with payout threshold + <30% gains per day consistency + 10d min trading days with no 1 micro contract <5 sec trades to hit the min days... only a tiny % are actually getting payed before blowing up.

I think it's me, pip & crypto @ AMP... I've been with them for about 5 years with no issues whatsoever

Nice to hear that i will open account with them as i am liking futures, mt5 works good for futures or should i use other plaform?

HFT cant be used on funded account.

I started with MT5 due to familiarity, CQG is also nice. Since I started trading with futures props last summer, I've been using Quantower and I love the platform, so I now use that platform for both Personal & prop futures trading. There are several good trading platform options available.

Is AMP Futures a prop firm?
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

legit but you need an excellent 2-3 year track record (>2.00 sharpe ratio) to climb the charts & attract any meaningful attention + money while you're being charged $100 upfront + $40 a month.

Very well done!

In my view they are the way to go. But I think one needs to stick to the main ones like Nova, Kortana or Infinity.

To get funded within 15 mins without going the pain of passing two challenge phases is marvelous but not being able to use HFT on the funded accounts is where most people fail. I suppose you traded very carefully with low leverage. Only way to make it I think

The only downside is the consistency rule and of course one has has to be careful about trading around news times. Otherwise it's OK. Much better then the normal one phase challenge which generally has a trailing max drawdown and direct funded accounts are usually very expensive

-You can have a perfect win-loss ratio across thousands of trades and still not maintain >2.00 sharpe ratio unless you are trading a certain way. Probably not a good gauge for day traders.
