Prop firm Funding Pips adding Match-Trader, cTrader, DXtrade platforms to replace MT4/MT5

Following our report from last week that popular retail prop trading firm Funding Pips had ceased operations after MT4/MT5 developer MetaQuotes abruptly halted its services due to active US accounts, the company is indicating that it is in the process of adding a number of alternative trading platforms for its clients.

In a Discord message, Funding Pips CEO Khaled Ayesh stated that the company is adding trading platforms (in order) Match-Trader, cTrader, DXtrade, as well as TradeLocker. Ayesh said that after the migration [ed: of client accounts] and adding all platforms, traders will be given the freedom to choose which platform they want to use.
In a separate Discord message, Khaled Ayesh said Funding Pips will be back “in 10 days max”. That message was issued early on February 16.
The move by Funding Pips comes as Cyprus based MetaQuotes, developer of the MT4 and MT5 trading platforms and apps, is continuing to inform its brokerage clients that it no longer wants “prop business” on its platforms, and that it will revoke licenses of brokers that allow prop trading clients to trade on MT4 or MT5.

1] Eval propfirms will be there. The business wont end. This business model will continue. No need to worry

2] For us clients - eval firms may find the lophole to offering services, if the US resident has an offshore company. This is a possibility. Example - Matt and Angelo are US residents. They do have companies in Cayman Islands and SVG. They do business. Similar way customers can also trade using an offshore company. For this, the firms need some tweaking in their processes.

3] As US clients gets restricted, we may see some mismatch in fee income and payouts. Chances of payout denials may increase {read today's

4] In my personal view, if a firm is offering big discounts, keep a distance.

5] If I have money constraints, I will avoid buying accounts with firms operating from US.

Don't waste your with Funded Next. They're as bad, if not worse, than Bespoke.
They are clearly the champions of payout denials and shady rules.

This guy has been very active in the recent months in twitter and seems honest. But being honest is not enough to manage a prop...

-Contrary to what some may believe, US regulators are not omnipotent. They must still operate within their own legal framework. The problem is when businesses fold out of fear. This is one of the many strategies employed by US regulators.

Bad start.
I would like to know:
1. If the interview can be shared in social media and if there is an opt out for not being shared
2. What will they ask. Because if someone asks me about my trades on 13 of December I will have to spend like 10 or 15 minutes or more looking at that because I don't have a journal (nor do I intend to have for any prop). I hope they have plenty of time to wait for my analysis until I find out why I traded X or Y.

I regret to inform all of my esteemed colleagues here at Forex Factory that I'm done with prop firms.

I realize that I have been an inspiration and a ray of sunshine to all of the traders here but I can't continue to invest any more time and energy into the prop space. Waking up in a stupor at 3 am and clicking a button on my phone and then falling back to sleep is much harder than it seems.

Instead, I'm going to put more energy into learning to play the piano.
