MFF - CFTC takedown
Funded Next - US banned
TFT - ??????
TFF - Meta license pulled
Funding pips - US banned

that's pretty much 6 of the top 8 FX props... SMH. The futures props are going to have a field day from all the US FX prop refugees.

It will be interesting to see what TFT is going to do. They are the next largest US/Can prop after MFF, the 3rd party brokers are dropping left and right plus they don't have the option to be their own broker.

They opened an offshore scam brokerage in caymans operating from colombia. But it already breached the contract of metaquotes so I hope its short lived.

Until we see something happening on that side to Apex &/or Topstep.... my viewpoint is that there is a reason why it's so quiet on the futures virtual casino side of the industry... they are promoting trading in US favored markets with US regulated brokers & exchanges getting a cut of the action.

The5ers and City Traders Imperium are adamant that they can continue accepting US citizens with their in-house MT5 licenses and in-house tech, they have contacted Metaquotes multiple times the past few weeks and confirmed it. They claim it's because they have their own private equity fund with live accounts (no simulated or virtual environment--after the challenge/evaluation phase anyway) connected to their own liquidity providers and no 3rd party brokers. I hope so... we shall see. FTMO claims it was not Metaquotes that made them decide to ban US citizens, but rather "market conditions", whatever that means. No one believes them anyway, LOL! But FTMO is also all "virtual" and "simulated environment", so maybe that is why they couldn't continue accepting US traders.

It was quite a coincidence that FTMO banned US traders within days of publicly being name dropped by MFF in the MFF vs CFTC case.

Could be so, certainly.

Basically, they genuinely fund people, and are not crooks and liars. LuxTradingFirm also: CFD’s but not crooks/liars, and genuinely, verifiably funding people who pass.

These companies may be safe (especially Lux, who use a TradingView white-label platform anyway). Hard to know for sure.

But it’s really almost impossible to see why anyone (US or not) with a functioning brain would actually want and choose to do a CFD funding evaluation rather than a futures one. Lol, any rustling noises you might hear in the background will likely be Mike Patak (Topstep) and Jim Thorpe (Tradeday) rubbing their hands with glee.

Nahhhhh, in futures section all is real, sent to real markets. I swear. I read it in internet so it's true.

I believe, though, that futures props pay feeds to exchanges (even if not 100% of the accounts) so regulators may turn a blind eye.

Futures trading sucks!
Trailing drawdown, can't hold overnight so can't swing.
Limited forex options, it just sucks.

There is a reason cfd props are popular not these garbage apex or topstep futures.
People came along and ruined everything for USA residents just like online poker, ohh for our safety. It's all bullshit

-Meanwhile, I have not heard much coming from smaller props like Ment Funding and Traders With Edge. Looks like Ment has 2M allocation and TWE 3M allocation. I wonder if these firms are silently growing in the background. I cannot tell if these firms are offering Meta still. Looks like TWE might be. Here is Ment's FAQ on platforms:

Can you point me to the funded lux accounts, how i can verify them please.

I don't know about "all" but as always, the point you're missing is that with futures whether or not it's real/live is easily verifiable, and objective, and factual. That's what happens when there's a centralized exchange: everything is verifiable and transparent and therefore honest.

Yep, for our safety. As we speak I am trading the audusd on my amp futures account with 273:1 leverage. Kinda dangerous, don't ya think?

Finally we agree: it's verifiable. And just that.

Which doesn't mean that top step and others send it to the market (they don't, in general, I know it personally).
