Or I'm (as one user) just here for a discussion. I think Futures props are far worse than CFD ones and would prefer the CFD ones to last and still be offered to US citizens.

Not everything has some hidden meaning / agenda or conspiracy.

It's strange as MFF were engaging with the Canadian regulator (assume same one they're having issues with now) using a high end legal firm and apparently weren't having any issues, albeit we don't know what exactly they told the regulator.

Not that it may necessarily matters as it's the location of the customers you're targeting that matters.

I'd guess if all vendors decide to turn their backs on props then all the newer and less trust worthy props will be doing strictly crypto pay outs. Dunno about the bigger ones like ftmo as they after all want to appear as legit as possible.
Edit:nvm I see now that ftmo already can pay out in crypto. So crypto for everyone it is.

-In that case, anecdotal or not, it is what you experienced. Same as many traders here; we know what the conditions were (and were not) like. Similarly, if anyone saw anything fishy, then that information would spread very quickly.

-There are some firms that offer free challenges that can be earned through competitions. There are also firms that will allow you to earn free challenges by doing various marketing for them.

Do any of the prop firms insist on paying crypto through intermediaries, or do they all pay directly to non-custodial wallets?

They all use intermediaries because its safer and there is less exchange risk as they store in dollars/stable.

My Personal Opinion: If you are in a challenge smaller than $100K its not even worth it. If you can not afford it, wait and save money. Your mind works different on a small challenge (been there done that). I have breached several accounts (over 11 accounts). I started doing GOOD when I started risking less (small lot sizes). I started doing BETTER when I set my weekly goals and trade with my strict guidelines. I did BEST when I concentrated only on three pairs (EURUSD / GBPUSD & XAUUSD) instead of jumping on everything.

I am currently in 4 Challenges and have 2 funded accounts.

Goal is to have total 6 Funded accounts in the next two months.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

someone posted that FTMO has 11% american clients so for all intents and purposes the vast majority of prop trading is a bunch of poor schmucks in usa and from all across the world that cant scrape up a few thousand dollars to open real broker accounts

so youre arguing with people whod rather gamble with crooked companies than save up enough money to go to a legit broker like interactivebrokers or whoever else is out there offshore

some of these guys were championing how trustworthy MFF was and now how FTMO is but the court papers with emails and text messages prove otherwise

anyone thats read reminiscences of a stock operator published a 100 years ago would recognize what kind of bookie operations these prop firms are LOL

I personally find it interesting how all of the trolls began to peak their heads out from behind the bushes only after the CFTC targeted MFF.

What a great opportunity to come here and trash other people so that you can feel better about yourself.

The pattern is easy to recognize... the arrogance, almost always coupled with laughter and an emoji somewhere, the assumptions and condescending remarks without any meaningful contributions, whatsoever etc..

What a sad way to go through life.

Option 1 - Trade 140K in 100% losable drawdown of someone else's money (MFF + FTMO + E8 + TFF + TFT) that cost me <$2000 to accumulate after discounts & refunds

Option 2 - Put 140K of my own money at risk

Even if Option 1 cost me 6-7K with no discounts + refunds, I would have still gone that route.
