So true. The world is becoming more littered with victims every day. When they lose its always the brokers fault & when their losing can't be tied to the broker, they are victims of the system. It is never the victim fault. How many of those illegals be of the victim mentality? A hell of a mess we have.

Next Monday I had planned to sign up with FTMO for their 50K challenge, well we all know how that turned out. Now I'm considering E8 or the 5ers as an alternative.
So, one more time from you that are far more experienced in the prop arena which would be the better choice? The 5ers has my interest at the moment.

If I try one of these & fail the challenge, I will just go away from forex market & continue with futures trading. Life seems much simpler so far in the futures arena.

The strategy now in the US is risk mitigation. Same way I did for years with the offshore brokers......85% of my roll protected in my own accounts, 15% spread accross 5 brokers. Broker goes down, I've lost 3% of my capital.
Now, in the prop world, it's 100K at 15 firms.........keep using until they close/ban US/stop paying, replace as needed. Of course, I need to find the 15 firms that have a semi-chance of paying me.
All of you pro regulation folks, look at what I've just posted. Is this how we should need to operate to be able to earn a living from trading. If I must do the above things, please explain how regulation is in any way benefiting me.
Instead of just allowing me to use good brokers with regulation that actually protects my capital, I must go offshore and/or use props to get much better conditions, trade the instruments I wish, etc. AND do my own risk mitigation as the CFTC doesn't even allow forex brokers to offer protection of funds.
Trading is difficult enough and then the need to have to work around the government body that has supposedly got my back? They are a hindrance. not a help.

anybody had experience with audacity ?
My issue with some prop firms is mt5 as only choice, still we are far from same number of e'sa and indicators that are mt5 based, comparing to mt4.

Spreads are great. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow after opening bell. They do charge commission $2/lot, which on the 5%ers is $10/pt.

Well boys I am over Apex/Futures. Nothing wrong with them, I just have no love for Ninja Trader/Tradovate and felt it was taking some of the fun of trading out for me(especially after losing my ass). That is even after investing in the Replikanto software just to keep multiple accounts trading with risk management settings.
Pushed all accounts full throttle super scalper mode and hit the wall hard, no fault but my own. It was a fun distraction but I can't tell you how happy I am putting my focus back into MT4. So much easier for me to use and less glitchy. Maybe I am just getting too old but MT4 just works good, I don't care about a bunch of special drawing tools for charts, not using it to make a F'n art project, I use the software for taking trades to make profits.
Was getting ready to grab an FTMO challenge only to find more BS news for US traders with us being discriminated against yet again.
No surprise a lot of US traders that make it big renounce their US Citizenship in trade for a citizenship from a country that won't continually be seeking ~50% their earnings no matter where they are making money on the planet. As well as having access to Grade A Brokers.
Going to keep trading my regular FX accounts (@500:1lev) and grab a 5ers high Stakes Challenge. Although 25:1 leverage for indices sucks.
It is looking like 2024 is going to bring some huge volatility so get your mouse pointers tuned and be ready to make those big profits gang.

Good for you Josh.

The only problem with 5%ers is they don't have mt4 and only glitchy mt5. My experience has been glitchy even with only mt5 and no other stuff loaded. It seems to load slowly with lag in ma's etc. unlike my mt4 with other stuff and loads pretty awesomly fast.

Is ninja trader glitchy?

I feel your pain my friend. Monday was going to my day to start a challenge with FTMO, but you know what happened there. Its MT4 for me too. I'm old school & don't need the extra gadgets that accompany some charts. Use to using charts for analyzing potential trades & what use to be called TradeStation's in the FXCM days for entering the trades. Now its dashboards. Considering going with the 5ers High Stakes since FTMO is out. Best of trades to you.

I see CTI which has mt5 only had their own coding service for mt4 indicators to mt5. Not sure what they charge etc. I won't promote their link. You'll have to look it up.
