Did you saw the 50 up candles without any pullback on Asia?

This is Negative Gamma, swings are exaggerated in one or another direction.

Market might be preparing for a big swing in a single direction without any pullback on CPI data, just like Dow did last CPI (12 days up in a row - with Negative Gamma previous to release).

Situation 1: Gold will jump above 2036, take support and then continue its long PA to 2040-42 area.
Situation 2: Gold will break out below 2031 support and fall back to 2027-25 area if it goes through this area, look for 2019 again.

The simple solution to the fake breakout is, I wait for a candle to close outside the area. Suppose resistance at 35 and support at 31 today.
In sell situation, I wait for a candle to below 2031. No entry yet, wait for next candle to break the lows of previous candle. If it does break lows of previous candle, I enter the trade.
Now in other situation, if candle is closed below 2031 and next candle is trying to go up again, 2031 area will react as resistance.

I do the both. I keep eyes on candles, if there is high volume, I hold the trade to my TP&SL. If the volume is low, I close my trade in profit when the candle is exhausted.

imo, today we can go up or down as usually.., and probably we expect up move ( because of "gold")
there is no clear direction.., at least for me

but what happens when you are waiting for second candle and in that candle it gives movement of 50 pips approx...i mean it goes to its support...and now in next candle it go up....so...what is your POV in that situtaion....hope so you understand me what i am telling you

Ranges almost the same as yours, atm just enjoying the coffee, and thinking about first scalp with shorting...
Will see what second cup of coffee will tell me
