Disliked{quote} No. It will die in a heart beat. The lack of overhead is the cause of the model explosion.Ignored
Disliked{quote} So basically... MFF has to win this case via settlement/trial or the current model as we know it is dead as the CFTC proceeds to go on a rampage vs the rest of the industry... at least in North America until the FCA, EU & ASIC enter the arena down the road following the CFTC's lead.Ignored
Disliked{quote} But, yet we have to dig through pages to find the buried disclosures on Oanda, Gain, IG, etc here in the US to find that these brokers are counterparty to our trades. Once again, and this is my MAIN point, if the CFTC actually existed for MY benefit, those disclosures would be required to be on home page in plain site and not buried where I must click 5 different links to get there. In other words, certain entities are allowed to mislead, but others are not....why is that? I would trade with MFF over Oanda, Gain or IG 100% of the time, no...Ignored
Disliked{quote}-I think, discussion of various regulatory groups, and other alphabet groups, is important, especially if it can be done objectively. There is often very little oversight and accountability with these groups and it is important that the people not only understand the various roles and scope of these groups, but also that they are carrying out their duties with integrity while staying within the lines of the law etc.. This is especially true as we often see so many seemingly-conflicting interests and possible agendas at play. You do not need...Ignored
DislikedI didn't know but MyFlashFunding is also a prop from Sean Bainton (besides Bluw Guardian and Aqua Funded). Confirmed by Sean himself. https://twitter.com/lukasstibor/stat...76395422040275Ignored
DislikedThere's a lot of whatbaboutism being peddled by certain posters here and I think we risk losing the true essence of the core issues.Ignored
Disliked{quote}-Not sure which core issues you are referring to, but here in the States, we are seeing our opportunities dwindle by the day as we become lepers as a result of over-regulation. Believe it or not, many of the Americans that complain about regulation here are not anti-regulation. We understand that there is a need for regulation, and we even welcome it in some form. The problem is over-regulation... especially when it becomes so restrictive and prohibitive that it no longer serves the good of the people.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Problem with regulators is they are unable to prevent Manipulations like insider trading etc. How many time we have heard CFTC fining big banks for currency manipulations and they virtually get away with millions in fines while profiting in billions. Regulators didn't prevent FXCM like firms during Swiss tsunami, Regulators didn't fine Oanda or Forex.com for huge spreads. Forex.com even claimed to make 50 million when EUR/CHF pegged removed and most of client who were holding same pair got margin call and their stops were not honored. So...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Aren't they reliable? I'm planning to buy a big challenge, currently trading with mid one , n so far so good. They don't increase the spreads on rollover time crazyly to shut traders like few popular firm. Haven't received any payments yet, n due date is after 25th may be, so no idea about payment.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Around 20K$ to get an out-of-box prop from solution providers. That's why you see so many 20 year-old CEOs in this industry.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well said, plus regulators were warned for years leading up to the housing bust in 2008. They chose to do nothing. Regulators were warned on multiple occasions that Bernie Madoff was running a scam, and again they chose to do nothing.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Also one word that a select few do-gooders in here forget, "lobbying". Don't come at me telling me how regulators are there to help us when they will happily take on cases for political gain.Ignored
