These prop firms be it futures or forex. They all seem to have their downside and positives. Since July Topstep did try to eradicate Apex by adjusting to 50% consistency rules and lower prices along with its EOD model. Dropping 2 min day in eval and removing its eval period to 1 stage. Its clear these prop firms are getting more desperate even futures prop firms lately to get the gamblers. To be honest bothersome. Havent looked into Earn2Trade lately but guessing they are still among the more serious ones reliable even if their founder got fraud accusations on him related to binary options...

So right now even in futures prop firms theres a battle who can get the most gamblers to their platforms. Its a worrying sign for the future without a doubt if one looks at prop firms for long term investment which isnt very wise to do. But still.

I mean lately they all seem to push it harder to squeeze the gamblers all prop firms. From history like what happened in the poker industry it means total collapse incoming for the gambler focused prop firms. I hope im wrong tho tbh. But its almost as if they know something is up, like when forex prop firms changed to unlimited and just some weeks before MFF case happened as if they all knew along with some other dude CEO kid getting fraud charges same time. But just some weeks before that all forex prop firms suddenly tried to introduce more kinder rules out of nowhere. Since they are so caring for the gamblers.

I know I might sounded harsh on you in last post. But if your method gives you profit even if you lose 10 accounts and 1 prop firm maybe provides payouts. Then good for you mate. We all have our systems. But since many view this forum and newbies such as indians and those from bangladesh sees it and thinks oh I can invest my last dimes and use that method. Or that guy who used to write here who was in 500k in debt or something and kept trying. Yea ofc being as a samaritan I must warn people. Greed is quite some abyss and to be careful of.

Just to add i dont lose 10 accounts as i dont take nonsense risks like 3-4% per trade. The thing is before prop firm i used to flip 1k to 10k or 25k or 55k yes you read it right with the explorer proofs just to spice up my trading lifestyle otherwise its kinda boring. For proofs check my screenshot not bragging just being transparent as i post my views more on cable thread just for pure motivation and i used to get motivated as well as hunger to learn and trade like champion. Now after 5 plus years what i learnt is DISCIPLINE IS EVERYTHING. Strategy doesn’t matter in my early years as like others i searched for holy grails or signals or courses n everything. But as time passed what i learnt keep trading simple with clean charts n price action you’ll find so many opportunities with experience like easy money.

when i started prop firm i came with the same mentality like my flipping accounts which was obviously wrong. Amazing trader once said TRADING IS ALL ABOUT PROBABILITY. You’ll win and lose but plan the bigger picture. Like everyone i used to hold my losers hoping they will revert and boom like that blown alot of deposits. Thats why i always take challenges in a bunch COZ its a probability for me and with each batch my win ratio to get funded increases coz i learn from mistakes quickly and dont repeat them.

THE THING IS i am NOT INTERESTED INCOURSES OR ANY INVESTMENT THINGY nor do i promote AS I DONT HAVE TIME AND I DO TRADING AS A HOBBY. So i dont have the energy to go into those coz moneywise i am doing like pretty god damn good coz of my hardwork as a SOFTWARE ENGINEER which is my priority.

NOTE: i purely trade from my phone with simple metatrader4 thats it dont have any fancy monitor setup just a macbook pro for work.

The process depends:
a) On the firm and where you are going to receive the money
b) Address where you want to receive the money, if you are using a self custody crypto address or an exchange like Coinbase or Binance
c) The coin you chose (BTC, USDT, ETH, etc.)

but trading should be boring, good traders even want it boring. boring is a sign you get on right path and you leave this ?
what was the problem to trade own account to some millions and then go further each year? boring slow step by step, more easy with low failure rate impossible.

doing what is not boring is often what produce wrong emotions. boring it gets in trading because it gets easy when you get better and better, like in any job. now its time to take the fruits from it by just do it more and more.

Missing the context again i am comparing flipping small account deposits with prop firms not in trading as a whole. Again flipping 1k to 1 million sure it will take 10 or maybe 20 years for me. And in the end i am explaining my discipline, emotiions and mindset not a ADVICE FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW.There is a SAYING WORK SMART NOT HARD (in both cases you’ll achieve your goal its the length of TIME)

i did not calculate with the 1k starting when you wrote with earned 50k ...

main text was, that trading should be boring. thats good sign for running well.

but the problem with the quote : work smart not hard!
you can do risky want money fast or with very low risk get money near sure slow. so its always a trade off between how good is your chance to get to your goal against how fast you want it. hard work helps extrem, smart helps by design how to work - but still hard work needs to be done after design what to do for get very successful.

you can calculate how many people needed to lose the fees for that you can win, when they pay out around 20% of the earned fees inside props.
so you are good.

thats what i was doing apart from my main accounts. I flip 1k to many many dollars in minimum period of time which is thrilling and entertaining for me. The best i did was 2k to 55k in 13 trading days. I did it not one or twice many many times here. Smart doesn’t mean nonsense risk instead controlled risk with alot of factors….
