hi mate, I would like to create a script in Tradingview and an EA in MT4 as per details below

Strategy = MFI Bollinger Bands
Indicators = Bollinger Bands (20) dev 2 and Money Flow Index (5) levels 80 and 20
Lot Size = 0.01
Layering = times 2

Instruction to place an order:


In the M5 TF, if the opening of the 2nd candle touches the upper band and the MFI reaches above level 20 the order is Buy. if the opening of the 2nd candle touches the lower band and the MFI reaches below level 80 the order is Sell.


Is it possible to make this an EA or Script? Thank in advance to those who will reply

To me, it seems that you have no error in the expert tab, it initialize when you added to the chart the first time and then you change some input parameter and then it initialize fine again.

I see the problem though, but i think Jeanlouie has to fix this for you

Kindly request your help on this regard.

I trade indices & I'm trying to develop a system accordingly.

I've a request that may sound strange but as per my findings if this can be done it may come in very handy.

This indicator that I've attached is a "Moving average crossover" for MT5..

I wonder whether its possible to add a condition in addition to usual crossover.

Example :

Lets say I want to get alerts when

Moving average 20 (EMA) crossed Moving average 50 (EMA).

But I get to choose only to get alerts when crossover happens below/high 200 MA/EMA


Is this something can be done sir?
if possible kindly help me to get it done. million thanks in advance.

Gentleman!

If someone would help for the sample code of Auto Trailing Stop by TP percentage with profit lock as the concept as under:-

 

  1. Stop-Loss in Points : Set your initial stop loss in points (very important to use points here, not pips)
  2. TP1 - TP4 Percents : Split up your initial Take Profit into percentages at which you want the EA to step up the Stop Loss (default is 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
  3. SL1 - SL4 Percents : Set the percentages at which you want your Stop Loss to adjust when hitting corresponding Take Profit Targets

***For example, when TP1 25% is hit, EA moves SL to 12.5% (SL1); when TP2 50% is hit, EA moves SL to 25% (SL2), and so on***

 

  1. Trail By Points : When 100% take profit is hit, set how much EA should trail by. If price continues in a favorable direction, the EA will continue to lock in profits. (Important to use points here, not pips)
  2. Color and Style Options : Adjust to your liking.

Hi Everyone...
Can anybody help me on this?

I have this indi called Account Equity Analyzer and it does what is say....but...

It will be possible to modified this indi so he can analyze only one pair?
What i mean is..that now is analyze the entire equity....
what i would like ,if it is possible,is to analyze a single pair and plot a graphic line like the red one.

I see, so its possible for me to try to code the indicator to utilize pre-defined array by using the function iOpen, iClose, and etc? I noticed that predefined array loads instantaneously, so I would prefer if its possible on MT5.

i delete and re-apply with single wick in mtf true before i apply i then saw uninit reason 1

You would not notice any difference in either 4/5 when using predefined arrays inside oncalc, or timeseries functions for the current sym/tf.

The 2 indicators also work differently, the mt4 indicator only uses the chart candle times and decides on new day/week/month on those times, the mt5 indicator gets higher tf times for use, which is where the timeseries functions come in, and decides on new day/week/month times that way. The mt5 indicator could use time[]/open[]/etc arrays inside oncalc.

I had it running for a while with some ma's on it, no issue came up (though there is an issue with the ma values in mtf being live and not staircase). Unless I can recreate the issue there is nothing to go on.
