Hi.
Unfortunately, the Author of this EA passed away, but left behind many interesting indicators and EA. This is one of them. I like it, but there are some things I would like to change. In this EA, an order opens when the price touches the borders of the rectangle, and if the price goes in the opposite direction, then when it touches the opposite border of the rectangle, an order is opened in the opposite direction, increased by 2. I would like to ask you to edit this EA so that the order is opened only after the candle closes outside the rectangle, and not when touching. When the border of the rectangle is touched, the order is activated, but it opens only if the candle closes outside the rectangle.

Hi can anyone assist, I need help in creating a EA (mql5) that purely trades based on timefilters including trading sessions with trade excution signals on orderblock and Fair value gaps.

How I would normally do it trading manually very simple and straightforward works on any pairs, or indices. Mainly trade Nasdaq on this.

1.Determine Market structure -Look at daily time including monthly time frame to determine the trend direction of the market.
2.Once direction is confirmed, look for possible order blocks where structure was broken or retested around trade sessions mainly Tokyo and London/NY due to the volatility. Highlight the order blocks with channel tool and or use the tool to draw trend for accuracy only.

Entry (Execution) [If there is no setups and confluences are not valid there is no trade.]
Some major candlesticks for extra confluence have been see mainly engulfing bars/doji/pinbar when these setups occur.
Every entry taken will be at an order block 80% of the /me. The other 20% will be at a FVG
(fair value gap). The only way to see if a FVG entry is valid is through the fib tool - which
61.8 and 50 level would be entry level whether it be a sell or buy but keep in mind 38 level
on the fib is a reversal level as well.
Imbalances entry fair value gap trade execution example for 10:15 am hold trade until 11:15am (trade duration 1 hour) followed by a new trade reversal order at 11:15 at previous close entry position to hold duration until close of 12:15am candle high or low position to enter new trade in reversal direction of 10:15am order entry of current trade sessions.

Timefilter-specific (Additional times should be added if needed)
10:15-11:15
Monitor 15 min time frame and look for the closest 15 min time frame order block. Entry to be taken on 5 min for sniper entry.

Risk management

Risk 1% per trade according to account balance
35PIP-STOPLOSS ABOVE (SELL) or BELOW(BUY) ENTRY PRICE

Money Management
Trail SL at 350-500PIPS
BREAK EVEN

EXIT
Takeprofit 2%-3% (MIN)
TARGET per day based on all trades 1500PIPS-3000PIPS

MAX ALLOWED TRADES PER DAY (3-6 trades) According to setups for the day




I trade this plan however I need this to be automated, tried chatgpt but its been a pain. I hope someone can guide me or help to experiment with this.

Thanks for your input. You are correct. Values '0' and '1' fixes the text in position, regardless of zoom level.

But in my case, those two inputs clashes with candlesticks.

Query: Is it possible to set the position of the text label to the rightmost of the chart, fixed regardless of zoom level?

What's stopping you from copy n pasting that inside a for loop? Most indicators have a for loop inside the oncalculate section you can plainly see.

Спасибо за совет, но этот инструмент как раз и хорош для трендов. во флете, наоборот он наоткрывает кучу сделок, если будет биться о края. именно поэтому я и попросил, чтоб его переделали, чтоб он открывал сделки только после того, как свеча выйдет за край и там закроется, вне прямоугольника. Таким образом эти долбаные фитили во все стороны будут отсекаться и лишние сделки открываться не будут.

Hey there, forum folks!
I want to run a backtest on MT5 using the indicator I've attached.
The trouble is, the backtesting process is moving at a snail's pace.
I'm pretty sure it's because this indicator is doing a ton of calculations on buffers that I don't even need for backtesting.
Could someone do me a solid and help me get rid of these three unnecessary buffers in the code:

  1. VB HIGH
  2. Market Base line
  3. VB LOW

I'm just after the RSI PRICE LINE and TRADE SIGNAL LINE, hoping that a lighter indicator will give a boost to the speed of my backtesting.

This is an excellent indicator.

I wonder if it is possible for the price scale to only show specific prices required instead of increments?

I.e: Show only 00, 20, 50 and 80 price levels? This should display levels of 1.23000, 1.23200, 1.23500 and 1.23800 throughout the price scale.

I use MathRound to make whole number,(replacing hard code *10000 or *1e5) ---> and Success
This MathRound is more useful, it suit with all USD & JPY pair calculation.

The idea is that _Point is a variable that is cross-instrument, it is the minimum tick increment digit precision of any symbol, so you don't have to hardcode factors.

No, it works, the problem is that you're trying to give a double type number, an int value, which will become a double value again. Buffers are double type, they will always have a decimal component because they are a decimal number type.
eg if you give a buffer[0]=5, the data window will show 5.0000 (0 decimals to match symbol decimal digits) and a printout of print(buffer[0]) will show 5.0.
