I didn't know there is a free version! ok I will test it. I'm in love with Tradovate and I feel good with it.

But this weekend I installed Windows on Parallels, and I tested Ninja and sincerely I don't like it anymore, I have seen ninja born almost 20 years ago and I feel using testing it to have an obsolete peace of software and I would spend my time to try new platforms on the market. Ninja was smart to buy Tradovate.

So I will test Quantower now.

For who has 20 accounts or even more to trade, the difference in fees between rithmic and trodovate (25% more) or 20$ with apex, can be lots of money you can save per month that you can reinvest may be in a license.

What kind of mac you running? Newer one? Desktop? Laptop?

Tradovate has been working flawlessly for me on these 10 accounts. Granted groupcopy wont work with Tradingview, but can still leave it connected to look at PA and order positions. One monitor has Tradovate open for execution, the other monitor for Tradingview.

Hi guys, I bought a challenge of Apex to test them (Rithmic) but I'm a bit confused.

They sent me a link for setup Rithmic/Ninja, which is in their faqs:

I thought Rithmic is a trading platform (I'm almost sure that I tested Rithmic in the past in a demo) so what's the role here of Ninja ? Isn't Rithmic enough ?

You can use Rithmic for charting and order execution; so yes it is a trading platform. No need for NT. They only send you code for NT because if you took NT then...

you can use Rhitmic, for me is enough. On apex dashboard right bottom corner you find login for Rhitmic. Choose apex as broker. Rhitmic was strange for me i member but when u figure it out is easy to do whatever you need.

Yes I learnt that. We can use "group copy" only using Tradovate WEB and Tradeweb APP (MAC OS in my case I guess there is for Windows as well)
Tradingview as you said. So basically we can keep on the sametime open the three, but sometime one of them get disconnected so you have to login again.

Not so easy to add fast the password in the MAC APP because the copy and cat is disabled, while on the WEB browser version and Trading view it's fast.

Monday I will test the group trading, I already added some account more and I created 3 groups.

It seem a great tool, I love Tradovate. Unique feature missing is the possibility to trade Micro in small accounts and Mini on the bigger one.... unfortunately this is not possible, but I guess you can use two different apps and manage that in other way, but you would need more space, more monitors.

that probably you will not like, but is also a connection to almost all the platform available on the market, so if you have license of Bookmap, Motivewave, Ninja, Quantower, Atas and a long list... you can use there, probably you can test it for free with Quantower without order flow, and so on.. Volumetrica, ATAS and all the name you find listed in many FCMs and props.

I think you could test it fast with a IOS or Android app of Rithmic mobile, so you can check the login, account and how it looks. I checked the images on app store and google play and I feel it not good as my tradovate mobile. But, if you have a license or a software you like, free, trial or paid, and you don't need tradovate, with rithmic you save 20$ per month on Apex. Not bad.... and Rithmic-CQG are compatible with almost 80-90% of software are around in FCMs.

In APEX websit ethere is a list of 10+ software you can connect with Rithmic, while Tradovate just itself and Ninja.

Yeah I don't use the Windows app at all because of that sole reason, the web version works just fine.

If somebody, 10 peoples, write in their forum, I think that it could be an easy fix with the next update. But for what I read user are worried after the merger with Ninja. Tradovate had if I remember well a free commission on futures paying 200$ per month. Now their plan are like a bit more expensive after Ninja bought them.

As you see, many users doesn't use it because that issue make slow the trader. They have invested in money for the APP so, if they can do a fast login via web and mobile (face id and fingerprint) they should fix mac and as you confirm windows, the desktop apps logins.

You will be more confortable by using Ninja for your trading and Rithmic just for the management of your trading. In fact, they are two independent things.

Tested Quantower and unfortunately for me, so I don't have to buy a license I don't like it, not scalper friendly. I could never imagine to be happy so much with tradovate that is as good and easy to use for me and my favourite one together with interactive brokers.

After tradovate I was taking a look today to Tradestation that I was not checking since almost years, and I have seen they did also a web based platform.

Anyone of you tested tradestation web, and can give me an idea if it worth a trial? I'm trying to check today if I can test it.

Here is a spreadsheet with Prop Firm Indices and FX Leverage.
For my trading style 20:1 leverage on indices sucks, so I made this for reference since most props only offer 20:1.
All of these rules and Conditions for Apex seem over the top for me. Never trading Futures before makes it feel like I would be starting to learn from the beginning. Looking forward to seeing some success's from others though.

A lot of talk about Tradovate and Tradingview here lately. I would never touch them myself, I did once years ago. Since 2021 Tradingview had issues regarding login issues which sometimes lasted for a whole day or days so. Tradovate had some filling issiues I recall since they said they had issues with their new technical implementations and queing system some year back, respect to them for being honest actually. Didnt touch them since then. But who knows maybe both platforms are more stable and better now. Theres a reason why the more veterans stay away from the web versions.

I do know many people are bothered with Ninjatrader in general. Personally never had issues with them myself at all. I think the issues people had with Ninjatrader was years back tbh. Since then about 1-2 years ago they fixed the platform.

When it comes to Sierra Chart. You wont hear any major complaints at all stretching back decade or so. Its the rolls royce of the trading platform world. Even if it might look like a rusty Volvo on the outside. But inside the programming, speed, support all of it surpasses anything on the market as far as I know.

Update guys on 3 x 200k phase 2 of accounts
Day 6 since challenge purchased.
1. skilled funded trader- cleared 6% target now need to wait for 4 more days to get funded
2.Myflashfunding - currently gbpusd longs 201,164
3. Blueguardian - 193, 989$ all gold longs smoked today (from tomorrow i’ll recover it back from drawdown as max i have on account is 8% and the best part is target is only 4% so possible to achieve this by the end of the week)

EDIT: This problem is already solved, no need to answer. If someone has the same issue you can see the solution some posts below.

I'm in Rithmic and I'm stuck here. I selected my account (it's just one 50K eval for now).

When searching ES.CME or MES.CME I should get something, right ? Nothing shows up.

When I double click in the symbol field another window is opened but no symbols available. There should be a list of symbols there, I think.

The same happens in chart window. But everything seems to be well connected with the green light at the bottom. Am I missing something here ?

futures moves like the CFD or spot of your MT5... so I don't see anything to learn, you will quickly adapt to the new platform and price.

yes I have seen youtuber saying almost the same, after ninja bought tradovate, they switched to sierra, but I have heard some issue I don't remember what about some login not workting with rithmic or some futures prop, but I forgot. I will test Sierra Chart one day, I find Ninja trader obsolete, I don't like they have not done a restyle in so long time and I feel too old software. I have seen them when they came on the market in '00s all of them, I never liked sierra, but now I'm more flexible and open mind to everything.

may be you have to activate the data if it is the first time? in Tradovate we need to accept all the agreements for market data and so on... so I guess for rithmic too.

strange, don't know, somebody here will answer you soon I hope. "price" and "history" are not green, may be the price-data is not active yet.

Sometime I read it will become active after many minutes, even 1 hour or more.

I followed the instruction to setup Rithmic / Tradovate and they say to turn data off, which I did.

I believe this is for those that want to use Ninja.

As I don't want to use Ninja (at least for now), I closed everything and logged in again to Rithmic, choosing Market Data on.

Now I can see all symbols.

Can you use account template in Rithmic ? That way you can split a larger order into multiple accounts. So this would then like copy trading but order splitting more.?
