Correct, I never hear to speak so much of futures, seem that there is an high activity now. And even there will be hard to adapt, but at least, the prices you see in the order book are the same for all of us. In a way or another, for sure, they made calculations to let us fail in the same way of the FX prop. Won't be easy.
Even watching offers of various "futures" props, I see something really sad, they give 1 mini and 10 micros to trade, other 1 mini and 1 micro as limit, other 1 mini and 2 micro.... this should raise a big red flag, you can't find excuses, there is not an issue of liquidity in micros, and traders accept everything, the real market, real conditions, but it seem that the prop world works completely in another parallel dimension, the videogame.

Is there any minimum holding time in minutes (or seconds) if you trade micros to fullfill the trading days on Apex ?

yes its a platform. I believe ftmo are adding them? I am not sure, but I would love for something to take off other than ctrader and metatrader. Ctrader because its designed to be shit from the platform side (non user facing) and metatrader because its designed to be shit to the user side. Something that combines the benefits of both from a usage stand point not an advantage standpoint.

I see, it doesn't look to bad actually. The space does need more alternative platforms for sure.

Alright people Update time.

Phase 2

1. BlueGuardian - 1% up (target 4%)
2. MyFlashFunding - 3% up (target 6%)
3. SkilledFundedTraded passed phase 1 but need to wait till Monday because of min. 5 days rule.

If i Pass BlueGuardian and MyFlashfunding next week then will buy next set of challenges

1. FTMO 200k x 2
2. FundedEngineer 400k

Plan:
1. Goal is to achieve 3 million worth of Funding with 7 or more different firms.
2. After Funded each account will have a maximum risk exposure per trade of 0.2% and monthly target of 2.5% that's it.
3. Also any profit made will go to my personal account or buy more challenges.

Btw loving the challenge atmosphere while trading so thrilling.
Either gonna make it or die trying.....

Would be interesting for other traders (or just me) to know, not your secrets, but if possible which is your trading style, instruments you trade, how many trades, risk reward ratio. Thank you.

I noticed they were a fpfx tech partner about month ago, when you mentioned possible metatrader issue for props.

Thought we'd sooner or later see props use DX trade. Surprised to see FTMO first though, thought they utilised there own tech?

Good luck i started propping about 1 year ago, I felt at the time it was a risky business, and I was a bit late to the party. I guess I was lucky cftc didn't act on the mff tip off sooner.

Are you not concerned at all about the current situation? you've been going in fairly heavy on the challenge purchases.

Only Cable n US30... i dont target big but try to catch a pie like 5-10 pips during a momentum... Close losers quickly.... Pure price action and gut feeling

Its the same situation during the cryto bull run. People were scared to buy those scammy coins but who did earlier and know when to exit made killing out of it. So in near term prop firm not going anywhere. So better to squeeze some bucks out of it. I think like this if i use those challenge money into my personal account hardly gonna make decent profit.My goal is not long term Prop firm account instead 200k personal account. For that u just need to pull 15k-20k from 8-10 different firms.

Btw final update for the day made a stupid mistake and lost 3.5% on both accounts coz of Cable shorts.

Final balance
1. Blue Guardian: 195,300$
2. MFF: 198,894$

I probably would not say that with Apex... I think they operate similar to MFF where a small % of traders are STP to the firms futures broker accounts instead of offshore FX broker accounts with MFF or they will eventually push good traders to their own personal futures account like topstep (have not seen this happen to anyone yet). So the payouts are coming from fees, but the additional profit opportunity they have that FX props don't... all trading is off a CME feed & lot size limits are in line with realistic fills within 2 levels deep of order book, this makes their data valuable & sellable.
