Last year was very good for me... my tax bill on the other hand living in the US in New York City was beyond outlandish, damn near 50% out the window. I had to shed a tear writing that check in April lol

I only can warn you against 5ers. If regulators step in you need to pay back all your gains and you get your challenge fees also back. Everything is set to ZERO when they come. It is simply not allowed to take any real money as trader without having a license. Either you as trader needs a financial advisor license or the prop firm needs to be licensed. WITHOUT a license it is just big crime and nothing else.
Your comment is only about the fivers, or for all prop firms?

I have added funded engineer to my list of "ok maybe" firms. I just wished the ceo controlled his social media a bit better.

Anyone, is there a reason FE only offer promo codes for challenges up to 300k but they offer challenges up to 500k. So for those bigger challenges no discounts... ?

IMO, in the current environment, I wouldn't spend more than $500-600 with ANY FIRM. Buy your $100K, pass, earn 3-4% on funded and USE THEIR MONEY via your profit split for the bigger challenge. It is more time consuming, but you are truly only risking $500.....you pass 2 challenges 1*100K and 1*500K, you are funded $600K with initial risk $500. With most of these firms, using your score, once you are buying 100K, there really is no additional "value" purchasing anything larger anyway.

Completely agree. I have come full circle and only have 5ers and FTMO now. Havent had any payout issues or problems and just have found them the "least worst" of a pretty sorry bunch.

I remember your first payout from Bespoke took more than a few days to get approved. They prob would have already found an excuse to kick you out back then, if they didn't see your posts on this thread. I doubt there are many people who got 800K funded account with them. It wouldn't be that hard to guess who you are from their end.

FXIFY has a very attractive scaling plan. I don't remember the exact figure but it's almost too good to be true. You can kinda double your figure within a year if you meet the target. They didn't put it up on their FAQ but if you ask their live chat, they would tell you.

I have 1 funded account
And one challenge with funded engineer pretty good so far payout and spread but I only trade Forex
