One the one hand told to ignore the fundamentals and trade technicals. On the other told to ignore the technicals and listen to peoples speeches. I essentially comes down to whatever I do is wrong.

Technical is BASE .
Fundamental is only Fuel for Price to move to Touch Technical Targets .
For Example when gold Crate 3Hit Pa . We have a fall from third Touch , But if it do BO the Level of Third Touch it will make another leg ..

Unlike fx pairs gold moves with a balance of fundamentals and technicals because of its safe haven appeal. I guess you have to adapt with the situation and go with it, right now it’s running on pure fundamentals lol just buy the low of the day and you’re good can’t possibly mess it up (that is not trading advice and it’s not as simple as that lol don’t just blindly click lol)
You can see how much markets respect Powell though it was ranging the whole time until he spoke even with blue numbers on the red report market didn’t move but waited for him and now it’s going apeshit

As I mentioned, do not try to stop a flying rocket with shorts. You may be right and get some profit, but if you are wrong, you can loose everything.

Thought I'd one final go at it and it wouldn't even let me have a fucking 350 pip move. Turns around 20 pips from my tp and hit my SL.
Makes me sick that I'm so bullish on gold but because I'm trading technicals and it should have have a higher TF pul back, I'm poorer and poorer every day. I cannot see an entry to go long, unless the suggestion is don't look for an entry and just blindly buy? It certainly would have been a better strategy
