Price below 1876 breakout and hold. And next 1874 be enough for a top failure now, watching

So a little update from me.

Had a little breakdown on Wednesday. On my 2nd day off work sick. Had a long conversation with my GF about my trading and we agreed that I need to give it up, or at the very least give up day trading. Over the last 6-7 years I've got progressively worse at it. My mental health has declined and, being in my 40's now, it increasingly risks causing me permanent physical health problems such as a stoke.

I'm going to learn to be more grateful for what I've got. I've got some financial security for the economic collapse that's heading our way. Fixed mortgage at 2.7% for the next 9 years. Me and my partner bring in a comfortable income and we have transferable skills as well as those skills being able to be used for supplemental income.

I'll just have to accept that I'll never own that Aston Martin.

Instead I just spunked a ton of money on my new camera gear. Behold my new Nikon Z9. Just awaiting my lenses to arrive now.

I'll still be around and will continue to shit on fiat currencies and all economies that use them, but hopefully I won't be doing anymore ranting and raving.

Honestly it is not that bad, I know people that has lost everything, people perfectly healthy became insane and broken... it is bad if you expected this activity as a financial freedom ... you are able to buy your camera but others can't even buy a candy.. so, take a break and use that camera in the meantime

If the target wasn't touched, I'll sell anyway before the news.

I think the general trend is still bullish, and the called "gap" is never going to be filled. However, the news may push the price down for a better long position.

I might be wrong, Let's see.

good luck with your photography endeavor...maybe become a paparazzi

from what you exhibited here the last couple months i dont think youre suited for day trading...maybe try ETF's ...i dont know what britains etf's are called but we trade them in our ira's and retirement accounts...its smaller leverage or you can just pay cash for em and you can hold a long time...this way atleast you still have a foot in the game

youd probably do better as a weekly swing trader with those instead of going thru the emotional rollercoaster of daytrading



edit: i dont mean CFD's...thats crap...ETF's are funds that people can trade like stocks

We have a thing called an ISA in the UK, which is a savings/investment account that allows you to put £20,000 a year into it tax free. Retirement-wise, I have a SIPP (Self Invested Personal Pension), which I think is our equivalent of your IRA. The good thing about our SIPP is that whatever you put in, the government tops up with the income tax that you paid on that money. As it's Self Invested, it comes out of your Net income, and so that's why you get the tax relief.

I recently sold my flat to move in with my GF, so I put a bunch of that money into my SIPP, which basically meant the government reimbursed my Stamp Duty (house sales tax essentially) cost of selling. I've got these loaded up with energy and commodity funds at the moment.

Plan A active. Sell at 1984,63. I set a really tight SL at 1886, maybe too much. TP opened atm.
