Given that there hasn't been a panic buy of gold following Mondays gap up, I still think there is a good possibility that we see 1835 again.
Just don't know when (or if)

Maybe a run for 1868 which is the bottom of the 1HR "order block" before down for the gap?

Yes, this is making your analysis biased, not good. Gap could be filled, but could also take a week, don't be fooled by the gap. Tonight's FOMC news might make it go there... Or upwards further even. Pump and dump (bearing the death cross on Daily, we could expect a drop sometime).

Conflicting advice all the time though. One the one hand "take the opposite position of the majority", then it's "The Fed are being dovish". On the one hand it's "trade with the trend", on the other it's "don't chase price".

I missed my indicators buy signal earlier, and have been getting sell signals ever since.

On the one hand I'm happy it's going up because it means my physical is going up in value, on the other I'm about to cross my £19,000 of losses threshold with no end in sight because I can't figure when I should be trading with or against the consesus or listening to what the Fed says.

no , usdx on better bounce position , so strange again as both playing same direction again ! may for some time only !
got time to see again , pa still may more to bounce towards 1875 + , limit 1884. but all in a last leg up in extension running , . next good signal be 1865.16 , final 1862.74 , so waiting for any to be active again ! take care

All I needed to do was buy at my signal at 1859 for 350pips and I would have hit my target, but no.

Sorry for ranting again but it's day after day after day for 7 goddamn years and all it seems to do is the opposite of what I think apart from the odd day when I'm lucky.
As I typ this I crossed £19,000 of losses
