Sort of clears it up, but why the arrows at 1, 2, and 3?

I see the setting for Show sessions on 4, 5, 6, and 7.

How many did it start with, how many did you add, which ones do and don't work?

EDIT: I better try it and see, works for me.

The time and color settings work in all sessions. I just used the first three sessions for testing.

It's the show/hide option that needs some help with the coding.

How about if you input time on the 1st and 2nd sessions and still choose false in the option? Did it hide the session boxes?

Let me know if it works on your end

No, it doesn't, that's why I removed the times, seems the True / False option is the problem.

But I'm no coder, better read the manual, cheers.
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Yes, they are typical scammers and they think they can use all sorts of manipulation techniques, like what they are trying to do with me.
That's why I am telling people they should NEVER fall for such BS!

The other guy told me to send him a list of 100 EA's and he would make at least 5 work for me.
But he can't even use html properly....

MetaTrader 5 has M20 by default.
MetaTrader 4 has M20 by custom indicator, or by Period Converter.

What you are showing in your version is not an Engulfing candle.

To some kind much more skilled trader than I at coding would you code the following.

An indicator that would disclose whether or not the open price is near to the high or low price of any given candle of the trader's choice. The indicator would be coded so that the trader could specify what candle this would be based on. Example ... the trader would like to know if the Open Price on the (00.00) candle is equal to or near the High or Low of that candle.

The indicator would allow the trader to determine which candle would be used. Not sure how this could be mark on the chart.

I would appreciate it if someone would take a look at this idea to determine if this can be coded in MQ4 format.

Thank you to all that would consider this idea. Any views & comments would also be appreciated.

As a follow up to my last post. I know what I have requested can easily be seen with the eyes, but it sure would help an old trader to not to have to strain his eyes if this indicator can be coded. Thank you again to all that would give this some consideration.

In strategy 1 you have something wrong with your short conditions, because no signals appear.
In strategy 2 both signals appear.

Nope, I couldn't find any source code.
The one I posted should be enough for you to learn to code basic if's.

You need to specify a bit more.
1. How do you want to specify the candle? By time, by index, or by some other method, like an arrow which you can move?
2. Must the price be above/below?
3. And what when the price is between High/Low?
4. How will it specify?

Thank you BestTraderEv. I will try to explain the idea better. 1. I would like to specify the candle by the time say (00) & (0:800) would be two examples I would use. Use an arrow. 2. Would like to know when the candle opened did it open at or near the High or the Low of that candle. 3. The indicator would just need to specify if the Open was near the High or Low. Only need to know what the open price was near at the time it opened. If the open is an equal distance between the High or Low, it could be labeled as Equal, or IB for in between. 4. Use either Equal or IB for in between to specify.

I hope this is a clearer explanation.
