Gold got a nice down trend. Target: 1875 level. Sell high is a way to add short.

Price tried a lot but failed to breach Daily Key Level. Price required huge volume to blast it. Now 4H close below 1914 and now price is more hungry for retracement if not now then during news it can kiss 1921-22 area and drop from there to 1900 or more.Till then I am out of this game. I may be wrong.Trade safe

Anyone who sees potential to trade Gold on high volatile USD news? Usually Gold moves like a lightning on those.

Predicting up/down before news comes out can be big.

One thing you can do is keep a spreadsheet of your trades and include columns for how your trades closed (manually, or hitting your TP or SL). Below is an example of mine. My "Take Profit Hit?" column is used to see if price eventually went on to hit my TP before it hit my SL. Obviously if price triggers my SL, I will put False, if it triggers my TP, I put True. If I close manually, I leave it blank until it hits my TP or SL for that trade.

This way you can look back and see how many trades you manually close go on to hit your TP and make changes to your psychology to make you hold your position open for longer.

My problem is that I don't fill in my log.

Checking usdx, bo upside, now on support buut may breakout down before next leg up., so possibly all rang rand to up again before finally ready. Lets see, take care

True.. Big profit but high risk as price can move very erratic and not according to the news.
Find the moments when price moves with high speed and only expose yourself to the market briefly, like seconds.

Yeah you're right, finding a way to not get caught in a 'fake'' movement can be bingo-worthy.
For example, placing Limits on each direction before the news and having a short TP.

I think Gold would work best than any others.
