Hi everyone, reading the thread I noticed that your analysis is much more advanced and on point than mine. I've been trading for 3 years and I don't see any improvement in my performance, My setup is usually trading the "end of retracement" waiting for lower lows in a downtrend or higher highs in an uptrend and my time frame is from m5 to m30. But it seems that this is not enough to survive in the market, I think I need to know where would the price will be heading to position myself in a trade.
For those doing good in the market for many years now, may I humbly ask for a bit of advice on what topics I need to learn to read the charts more clearly? Please?

Well,seeing that the strategy has proven to be more successful than failure, I wouldn't mind following it from time to time, or learning it even.
I'm new to this, and I'm trying to grasp around and see what works better for me, and at the same time earning little money while at it.

So, I wouldn't mind you dropping them when you enter.

I have started adding long positions with target of 1919 but it is dangerous game because bearish trend continue and i draw trend line to watch the price.

Time there to play still as in a range down to 1910/08 before 1900 or low move, 1919 try likely before 1900 or low possibly. Take care
So may short buy opportunities now to 1910 around and good short opportunity arounds 1919, perhaps before NY open!

Today's consumer confidence number is the last one before millions of people have to restart paying their student loans after a 3 year respite.

Average payment is $400, but over 60% of people in the US are living paycheck to paycheck (sorry for the American spelling). Rent/Mortgage is up, car payment is up, credit card debt at record highs on higher interest rates, groceries up. "Hey you can afford another $400 right?"

Where will this $400 have to come from? The only place is discretionary (if there is any left), consumer spending.
