Exactly, millions of dollars. The police are called if someone steals your bike.....they show up, see the acused has it and act appropriately.

police is equipped with online criminal...and this is basically that! nothing else

if you will file against them in my country it is good to report the case to the police! so they go and investigate on dudes

Too many posts to read today. Better to let this serve as a reminder that profits should be put into personal accounts and/or reinvested. Do not rely on remote props in any permanent way; treat them as a tool.

There are some proper deadshit takes in this thread. Time to go watch tv. Police? Bro the regulator has frozen them. You call some nobody cop down at the local shop what you think they are going to do whilst the behemoth regulator is holding onto them? Joe down the local station he is gonna save you.

I think its time we all accept that the internet is just full of absolute idiots. Regulators freeze companies due to operational activities, things the business carried out. Sometimes freezes are just "stop what you are doing and tell us what you are doing", sometimes its due to reports, sometimes its due to wrong doing. But we will never know because most of these cases with companies who are not on the run but actually facing it generally get settled out of court and sealed.

I am sure that MFF would have loved to continue operating and paying people or if people think they are scam, having the ability to run away with money which is clearly not the case here, but their shit got frozen. And likely was frozen without them knowing until it was already done.

So people just have to wait to see what happens but it shouldn't take long, a date is mentioned it will likely end before that date as you could predict that this is likely to end before reaching that date with perhaps a fine or a needed disclosure or something along those lines. But you can be sure that the cat will be out of the bag and that other firms will be in the firing line, especially ones that are using brokers that can't onboard US citizens to onboard US citizens - anyone who uses a 3rd party broker.

Depending on your location, to make a living off of trading you either had to get to 30-60K in prop firm DD or 30-60K in personal account. The plan should be to leverage prop firms short term to get that 30-60K in personal trading capital.

Some moths ago the owner of a bitcoin exchange took all the money, about 2 billion dollars, to his own crypto address. When he was stealing the money he said that they have technical problems. One day later he flee to another country where he could hide.

After months he is being caught and sentenced. I haven’t followed if they could take the money back. But this way is better then just let him go.

About prop you are right I am also thinking like you. Only I needed fast money therefore I thought let’s give it a chance with unlimited time.

Own money trading with slow pace is good. Prop is based on ponzi scheme so the others will fall too when the good traders go to others or more people become better in trading.

I had been following the thread for days, and for the first time today, I struggled to read it. While what I've been reading has been emphasizing that my priority should be to reach the highest balance in MFF and FTMO, and only then consider other prop firms, today I'm happy that I didn't do that. But today is the time to review my future goals.

I don't know how regulation cases work but is that normal that the first step is taking the company to court ?

I understand if there was a suspension to ask questions but is it usual procedures for that to be simultaneous (suspension and court) ?
