If you ask me... you should look for THE OVERALL TREND... I almost give up for today bulls.. coz Im waiting for a sell... but.. it pays off

i think you have performance anxiety opening a trade...

my fear is at times like now where price stalls near my tp and i get anxious and impatient fearing ill give up profits so i usually close early like i did my longs this morning by not waiting for my 1924 tp's to hit... thats why i go watch tv or take a nap to avoid greed/fear to influence me...it helps im a swing trader...the scalpers develop neuroses watching the chart every minute and die of heart attacks

try and work on that fear....

look at all the timeframes from 1,5,15,1H at swing highs and lows and youlll start noticing candle patterns at the change of direction so today even the 1 min gave reversal signals at 1030ish

it will take weeks months maybe years of constantly scrolling back looking at swing reversals before you see the patterns

you work on your fear of entering a trade and ill work on my fears exiting one LOL

Don't get me wrong... you are right to... the news is bad for usd.. so gold went up.. but one news doesn't mean The Overall Trend will change.. unless Gorge Soros married you... hahaha .. or something like war is happening...

bear already continues , may to go below 1912.63 weekly , and it should be very heavy for buyers next and for sellers may just the start, so previous low weekly/daily tf 1892.97 at risk ! next target after 1912.67 if 1902.67. weekly p bear pressure likely remain strong below weekly close below 1919.63!!

Zebi has explained that. The data was inflationary. Cpi y/y rose to 3.2 from 3.0. Only weekly unemployment claims were deflationary. That's why price went bullish immediately and after settling down market realized the inflationary data.
About going up, i must say that price is now entering in rejection zones i.e. 1902-1895. Lets see how market reacts to that. If rejected then price will go up temporarily and then come back to test that again. May be even twice. So you have to keep an eye on that.

I was expecting a higher price break out to like 40s I thought price was pulling back to shoot up again but it never did, just started dripping again lower damn it ended up missing my entry, after a point price was too close to bottom to enter.

Meh maybe you're right maybe I need to work on my entries more, appreciate the pointers!

why 40's...i thought price would reach to 1932 at the swing high but it didnt so i "chased" it...look on the 1 and 5 min when i posted im short...price wasnt going back up not to mention always retraces back to the point of announcement so you had all that going for a short

40s looked to me like untested liquidity figured price would reach there if it got past 37/38 but it never did sigh. "not to mention always retraces back to the point of announcement" - forgot this crucial bit of information, should add it to my rules from now on so its in my face at all times, price seems to be retracing I'll enter now at the next change of character aiming for todays low as TP if everything goes according to plan
