It will be good if the price goes towards 1930 before FED. Then this can give great buy oppurtunity. As FED probably will take pause after wednesday.

i hardly ever let my tp get hit i usually close manually....get anxiety if price stalls close to my tp and fear ill give up too much profit if reverses LOL

thats my one psychological weakness

ill prolly close 1967 or 68 before tp gets hit unless on some spike

Conclusion
At some point in the future the PBoC will need to cease interference for its gold market to continue functioning properly. The blocking of exports, for example, is a major problem.
China as a whole can buy gold in amounts tolerated by the PBoC but can’t sell. What if the Chinese citizenry starts to fully grasp they can’t sell at the international price at all times? Put differently, what’s the point of owning gold if you can’t sell?
All sorts of unintended consequences can be thought of. Perhaps, when the international price spikes drastically, people will sell to smugglers that arbitrage between the domestic market and abroad, dislodging the Chinese gold market as it was carefully designed by the PBoC. Or the Chinese people will lose interest in owning an asset that has limited upside.
Another issue is the Shanghai Gold Benchmark Price (SHAU), initiated in 2016, that should compete with the LBMA Gold Price auction held twice a day in London. SHUA is also set twice a day and the price discovered through its auctions serves as an international benchmark denominated in renminbi. At the opening ceremony of SHAU it was said to be a milestone for the internationalization of China’s gold market.
But the underlying contract of SHAU is listed on the SGE, not SGEI. How successful can the Shanghai Gold Benchmark Price become if it’s subjected to the PBoC’s price manipulation in the Chinese domestic market? Which foreigners are going to use a benchmark that is detached from the international reality? The PBoC would be wise to eliminate confusion regarding these matters for the Chinese gold market to play a key role internationally.

Keep holding that sell at 1968, put a stop at 1964 in case price wants to go higher... I lost a good hedge buy entry today, nothing to do but wait and secure that sell. Imo price is going down as expected but very hard buying power, correct me if im wrong but H4 is forming a possible H&S pattern, you might take a look

It touched 1953 Pivot, might reach to 1968 to 1971, if it managed to break 1953 then the next position would be 1946 to 1940 as Target.
