selling the highs seems desirable...... sometimes it's not......
in the 15 minute chart below we could easily have sold every high with the exception of maybe 2..... simply by , at the new bars open, placing a sell limit at the prior bars high...... just imagine the drawdown......
or, as the price moves up we could have place sellstops at the prior bars highs which are less than the current bid.... some precaution is needed there......
both methods would have sold every high..... the second method often has less drawdown, while preserving margin......
neither method is a guarantee of success.....
the second chart, 1 minute, shows every prior high being sold as the price falls..... sellstops had be sent.....
someone asked about best trend indicator...... the 89 moving average is a fair gauge ..... it is up on all timeframes minute thru monthly......
some might call that a uptrend....h
