Since FED is expected to pause rate hike, I feel the risk appetite will improve raising the demand of riskier assets Equities, Pound, Euro and will make Gold less attractive.
Following is my prediction for the week ending this friday:
Pound: 1.2800
Euro: 1.1250
Yen: 138.00
Gold: 1965

I cannot be interested in FED and other data. When I examine it as technical analysis, there is a price - rsi negaitf mismatch. This means that the trend will reverse.

It stopped at technical resistance 2035. But the market is waiting for the conference.

Pacific Western bank is collapsing and whenever a bank is failing gold goes up. I think we're going to see 2100+ this session, crazy times. My account is in big drawdown at the moment, if it reaches $2140 my account is gone

News came apparently after trading hours ( what time exactly ?)

News is PacWest Bancorp is for sale. the markets doesn’t trust this action.

In the last minutes of trading day gold went up to 2038 from 2030. The next day started at 2068.
