Nice I haven’t seen many traders using ADX in that way. I use it but remember you need to be very careful , you can have huge drawdown.

I use ADX sometimes with combination of simple stock with default settings to look for diversion

Dollar is not helping but maybe Asian session will start an up move from these values, just to note that it will be interesting for higher values.

I agree with this, that it could well go back up in the Asian session, as it didn't close below 1900 on the daily, and the US data was mostly bad, so let's see! Maybe we'll even be going to 1950?

Yes it was surprise move going down as compare to all red US data. 1920-30 area is strong support. If price go up and test that area then I will wait for breakout

Hey, what are your guys trading style?

Anyways, gold thoughts. If you zoom out on the 4h we tapped a important level with gold 1924 area, this is the shelf where price released from. That is why there was a price sell off. News good or bad doesn't always effect price in the behavior of the results. Thus we now need gold to have a sell of in order to create more availability for price to continue higher in the long run. Currently I am anticipating gold to drop a little more before London session. Generally you can expect a PB before Asia session for the rest the high or low of the previous day (not always a thing but happens often enough). I anticipate price to drop just below 1900 to then trigger a sell off to create availability for further buys to occur. There is a shelf from price releasing 1898 area, we can expect price to come here then a corrective move to reach 1920 area for then another sell off. That sell off would bring price to 1882 area to then have another corrective move to the news support becoming resistance area of 1900. Price needs to drain a little to have a move further higher. Thats just my ramble and opinion of how we can anticipate gold price flow.

It might still go up to test 1929 again!? Interesting about silver plummeting, although it will go up again, this year is apparently being a huge year for silver to thanks to EV's etc.

Take Profit (Variable but atm 1918)

I took that trade because i see divergence on M5 time frame

i think that the 1930 level will be strong resistance for now

i might sell with a stop above 1935 if the price fails to exceed 1930 today
