Hmm, ... this has stark similarities to tradingview's pine code rather than mql4...
hope our coders could handle this task, so we can see soon how & what these indicators perform on MT4/MT5

You must have the "ZeroLAG MA" indicator in your indicator folder because the code calls on this indicator using iCustom code and without it your platform will freeze.
If you have issues with an indicator the first place to look is the Experts and Journal tabs at the bottom of your MT4 platform. If the "ZeroLAG MA" was not in your indicator folder you would get a message in the Experts tab saying " cannot open file ------------ "ZeroLAG MA.ex4".

how to solve the problem of scale? my charts are out of scale,i ahve to go in properties and uncheck it.
if there is a solution please help,if no solution then can we make a on off button on chart ,so i can fix it by one click,thanks dear all traders.

Please coders, I would like someone to help me with the modification of the attached indicator
I find the below QQE(5) indicator very useful for my scalping strategy. I will need to do a modification so that instead of getting alerts when QQE(5) crosses the 50 level, I will like to get alerts when the 2 QQE(5) blue and yellow lines crosses each other.
I will be very grateful if someone can help me with the modification. Thank you for your time

The MT4 terminal has the shift end button, untick that & press Home on your keyboard, takes you to the beginning of the chart.

click End your keyboard, brings back to the right hand edge.

Please can someone code this indicator into an EA for use on the five minutes chart?

Code it so that I can drop it on a chart and make it trade in one direction only for a specific day. Stop loss behind the main signal dot. Take profit open. Close trade (in profit) when the opposite signal appears.

You can make it multi-pair (so you only have to load the EA once to trade multiple pairs) or single pair (so you have to place the EA on the 5 minute charts of all the pairs you want to trade.

P.S: It is based on Bollinger bands so if you have a bollinger bands EA similar to what I need, please share. Thank you all.

Hi All

I have the attached indicator which shows Monthly/Weekly/Daily open levels.

However, as you can see from the pic, the lines drawn on the chart shift abit to the lift and align with the incorrect candle (though the open levels are correct).

Is someone able to fix this (sorry I don't have Mq4). OR can someone forward me a similar indicator that works correctly.

hello, I am trying to find a code for MT4 EA using Fractal indicator.
I will attach a screenshot for better explanation.
it is a pattern of fractal, when it is formed a buy and a sell signal will be given then you can evaluate the market if it is a good signal and when to exit the trade with support and resistance.

I hope I was clear, thank you in advance.

Maybe you misunderstood me. The EA should be able to buy and sell, but there should be an option to prevent it from taking buy or sell trades. So something like a Buy Only and Sell Only modes built in so that it can ignore sell or buy entries when they arise.

I hope you understand.

i do understand how direction (sell only/ buy only) works but my question is what indicator or parameter do you want to use for automating the direction?

The indicator's original rules based on Bollinger bands. Blue dots buy.. Red dots sell. I just want to be in control of when the EA can take those positions. I will control that part manually at my discretion based on my reading of the market for the day.

click 1st box to choose direction (buy only or sell only) manually.
or leave the default setting for both directions (buy & sell)
the risk % would be based on the number of pips for sl in relation to your balance.
