I got paid from FTMO recently, if that means anything to anyone. FF presence doesnt really mean anything, this forum (not this thread) is mostly dead anyway compared to what it used to be.

DislikedSo what are the trader profile criterias of having a better or worse feed on prop firm like MFF for example? When do you get worse slippage? How do they discriminate ?Ignored
DislikedSo let me summarize the discussions over the last days here. Significant slippage seen on MFF over order tickets of 10 lots, with 1 pip too much than usual, like on IC Markets as comparison, then two others complaint about CONSTANT WORSE EXECUTION ON MFF too. That was on lower lot sizes. So this is only a summary of those !!!Ignored
Disliked{quote} One more offense from you!!!! You call me what spouting ???? Did you not forget how much value I brought in here with my sheet and prop firm score calculation ???? Better to leave this thread forever. I just regret that I have provided some value in the overall discussion with some math. But go ahead with your slippage discussion.Ignored

DislikedLast week I submitted the request as per usual but the invoices have just sat there waiting for over a week now which is kind of shift from the normal times to expect.Ignored
DislikedMost likely there are user profiles which determine how much of the real market effect you feel.Ignored

Disliked{quote}-This is a very interesting consideration. Difficult to know how to feel about it. {quote}-This kind of comment is unnecessary. Better to keep things civil.Ignored
DislikedThe profiles thing generally is a good thing that looks kinda sucky. It makes the business healthier so longevity is more likely which if you are successful makes for a positive experience. If someone is looking for something to blame for failure, its quite bad but as mentioned previously real trading conditions would deter most of the inexperienced retail traders.Ignored
DislikedIn the recent past, there has been some negative posts about Firms regarding slippage , spread, platform freezing, Non payout of profit share from reputed Firms. It is better to discuss these points so that people are aware. As some one said, every reputed firm has one or two negative aspects. Profit share payout comes first. If some firm does not pay or no history of payouts, these firms can be easily taken out from Prop firm list for us. Spread is another aspect, which one should definitely see. This impacts directly on outcome. profits/loss....Ignored
Disliked{quote} My experience is kind of different, when I start fresh funded account slippage is not bad but it gets worse with profits. When profit starts increasing around 5-10% spread becomes consistent for 2-3 lots on 100 or 200K account. The problem is not occasional but consistent 0.03 slippage. I am not sure why there is no positive slippage. I used to have 10K account and 200K funded account, when I made 10% profit on 10K account around 2k, I accidently place 10 lot US30 trade on 10K account instead of 200K, I saw 10$ slippage, I place same time...Ignored

DislikedIf there's no slippage, than it's probably demo / instant execution. The whole point Takisd raised about people screaming about slippage reminded me about the divide between retail and institutional traders. Watched this video recently on technical analysis and institutional trading - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f19bfHpCths - and makes me think that with the scenario you describe, traders should be thinking about where the pockets of liquidity will be (institutional style) as opposed to sending through huge orders and expecting zero...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Again if there is constant slippage of 0.03 no matter what time. It is again shady thing. I understand slippage can occur but no positive slippage plus constant slippage also creates doubts. How slippage can be constant I have tested 10 lots even 50 lots. Does that say they putting orders in live market. As I said earlier as long as I get paid I dont care but nothing says that MyFF and FTMO puts trade in the market thats why there are slippages. Institutional BS doesn't apply to online prop firms like FTMO or MyFF.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah, 10 lots and 50 lots are pretty big orders. I highly doubt most brokers would have 5,000,000 in liquidity at the top of their order book. Even 10 lots (1,000,000) can be really dependent upon time of day. If you are trading in non-US session times, you are probably looking at maybe 50K to 500K on top of book. Bear in mind it's been a while since I've looked at broker depth of market displays. Here's a link to what I'm talking about: https://www.daytrading.com/level-ii To test out if you are really being cheated, what you'd...Ignored
