Yes, MQL4/5 are basically a substructure of C+, though I don't specialize in C languages at all.
Someone who is good at C+ and understands MQL could program anything for the MT platforms.
I am just good at connecting the dots, building stuff out of blocks, and I can read, so I do understand some other programing languages when I read them, at least I understand what's going on.
And as always, one image says it all.
I have been dabbling with these codes for about 10 years, now, so...
It really isn't that hard, we have all the templates we need.
MetaEditor in MT4 and IDE in MT5.

I hope that you do realise that the code can not think and only an AI can potentially learn to recognise such patterns.
Otherwise, you need to be precise and define exactly over how many bars the code should search for such patterns.
The code can not see, it does not have eyes, it only has data, and it can only look for conditions within the specified ammount of data. So, I can only tell the code this:
if there is a Bearish Pinbar, start looping and look for Close prices,
if over a specified number of Bars there is no Close > that Bearish Pinbar High -> doThis.
Notice, that the code does not know anything about the distances of those Close prices from the PB High.
So, I need more conditions, which you have not provided.
Think of this as if there is a deaf and blind, and no smell person, and this person can only know anything if someone else leads them to an object, and directs their hands to where they must sense by touch.
The code is even more limited than this person, because the code does not have a brain.
The programmer must lead this code to where it must look and show the code what it must look for.

And, I can quarantee you, that if you look at charts for long enough (many years), you will see that you can not see on the empty right side what you are showing on the historical left side. And you will see that these setups are very discretionary.
IOW, the whole Japanese Candlestick Patterns Hypothesis is a total BS.
But, you need many thousands of hours spent on charts in order to realise that.

That does not mean that you can't use the idea as a strategy!
As Long as you maintain a good Risk/Reward ratio, you will be good!

PS. I've seen those patterns so many times!
They mean nothing. The price can go in any direction after such a pattern.
Use this indicator and play with the PBRatio - you will see what I'm talking about.

I have nowhere near that time on Thinkscript so far with some very simple adventures in VBA and python beyond that. I have been watching some coding standards videos. That has been informative. I used to always think of coders as people who know either a selection of languages they preferred or specialized in a particular one and made a career out of just that. I did not mean to "lack precision", I assume because of the languages I've been working with so far that I assume MQL is easier to make changes to outputs than it actually is. This being my first endeavor toward anything C related is causing me to think that the output is determined much earlier in code than with the languages I've been working with so far on such a basic level.
"Holy Grail" exists - accepting where is the first step.

For the Candle Reverse BO strategy you don't need to change any timeframes.
This strategy always works on the current timeframe.
So, you need to keep your chart on the timeframe which you want to trade.

Hello guys does anyone knows,how to Convert Custom MT4 Indicators into C Trader indicators so I can add them into C trader.
I always traded manually but now I working on making an Algo to do it for me maybe I will Succeed.
Who knows but there is harm in trying it out in Del9 for few months.
Anyways I will share my Algo once it us completed so everyone can analyze and maybe make it better.

I need color only one bar (not all) ho jump rsi from area lvl 100-56 to area rsi lvl 44-0 and reverse 44-0 jump to 100-56 lvl on one step bar not more bar

That's too much work, sorry. Try asking someone who has already coded tons of scanners. If you look around on FF, you will find them. Google "Dashboard Indicators forexfactory".
