Dear generous coders, I am joining group of traders study the methodology of B.Mir. For this purpose I googled the web and found on FF a doji.mq4 I respect the work of the owner created quickly tool frame for ppl to further develop where needed.

I understand our group need looking for a special type of indecision candle size, Open near close, close about 10 or 7, High 19, Close 1, or inverted, and I guess the range should be less than 20 pips. So I further develop the doji for user to be able to
- change the label color, size
- set angle to stand clearer from the bars
- eliminate issue of use only in 1 TF or must manually wipe the chart when change TF
- eliminate issue of non-refresh

But when I attached doji BMir to chart, it found these dojis in section A, left it run alone from time B to C, no newer doji from the last doji in section A were found! At time C, I delete the doji BMir from the indication list, and newly attach it and it found 5 new dojis between time B and C. Why could you pls explain? In the code I have implemented the step for chart_refresh() why from B to C the indicator still seems to stay dormant?

Could you pls help me correct the non-refresh fault, so we can soon use this tool to ease our daily study.

I do still have one extra favour to ask the conditions to find the candle is

As fullaforex mentioned, obj_text is one way, but because you're intending to use it like a comment, it would be very cumbersome becuse it's placement is based on timeprice coords which constantly change as the chart moves in time n with new highs/lows.

Use obj label instead, which you can place via xy coords, measured from the chart corner used, and will always stick to those xy coords. Check the doc for its usage.

Hello…are there any coders here that can update this EA for me?

This is a simple hedging EA that opens a buy and a sell at the same time, with a set TP/SL.

But it won't open another trade until both trades (buy/sell) hit TP/SL


I need this EA to immediately opens another buy, or sell, once the TP/SL is hit. with the same parameters (set TP/SL)


I have been looking for something like this for a long time, please help!!

I felt same and implemented my own way to use label as comment out.
Font was too small for my bad eyes - I needed a bigger font which was not possible with basic comment MT4 provided.

Basically, my implementation was to setup Queue data structure, and store your comment as queued string.
Just like comment, you just keep adding to queue as queue.add("this is my output string");

then, at the end of main loop, you can just pop out those string from queue and write to label until queue is clear.

You may search FF how it is done from "BR Bar Stat" indicator.
I think that had slight bug which I fixed later on other indicator but it should give you more than enough to start.

Note: You could use CArrayString instead of custom queue structure.

Technically yes, but it would change the way a proper/regular volume profile is presented, and/or include fiddling with the indicator which has lots of features.

Minimum row height
- setting pointmultipler (about halfway in the inputs, default is 0) to 1 will set the row height to 1point, which is usually the minimum price increment. Pic below is the difference.

- because the indicator and vp indicators in general use the current chart's data, even using a small row height will result in horizontal blockiness, because multiple profile levels will intersect the same group of candles, leading to a very stair step appearance on higher tfs. Below is something I made that uses different sources of data, key levels are roughly the same, but shape and resolution is very different, note the column width is still 1 candle, but looks finer:

Minimum column width
- which more lends to the blocky look at higher row heights, it's supposed to look like that, and changing it would be very impractical. The minimum width above 0 is 1 candle wide, ie no drawing different blocks(rectangles) inbetween candles. A volume profile is a vertical frequency histogram, which tallies how many times a candle crosses over or into a row, if the indicator uses the current tf price data, then the max width is equal to the bars in the profile duration, and the minimum width is 1 which means 1 candle crossed the height of that profile level, using your pic below, you wont really get around the minimum width being 1 candle:

- to make the colum width smaller and the color gradient smoother, you'll have to drop a tf to have more bars within the profile period:

tldr:
- for row height, set pointmultipler (about halfway in the inputs, default is 0) to 1, (0 uses 1 pip, anything more than 0 is 1point*input number)
- for colum width, minimum is 1candle width, so drop down a tf to get more candles in the period, or dont use a color gradient that mades it obvious, or ignore it

hello tintep, I meant to say that I want to be able to adjust the time to start calculate the pivot. like for different time zones.
The indicator you showed is nice anyway. I added it to my mt4.
Also I share the indicator I managed to find. it can show pivot, woodie, Camarilla and fibonacci. can adjust the start time too.

Hi all,

Looking indicator with alert using "price cross ma alert" and similar keyword on Google, Bing etc without success. If this kind of indicator unavailable, can you please make it for us?

How "price cross ma alert" should work:
- if open price below moving average & close price above moving average = up arrow
- if open price above moving average & close price below moving average = down arrow

Please check attachment for easy understanding. Thanks for your help

as i understand Moving average Repaint/ lag, but what other Averages that moves on chart but dont Repaint/lag yet have (Open, Low, Close , Price)?
please correct me if am wrong, i thought of Half trend as an average that dont Repaint/lag, but all Half trend i have seen dont have option of (O,H,L,C) prices

Hi everyone,

I'm here to ask again your help. Some posts ago, NIKc helped me to modify the attached EA, which automatically places the stop loss and take profit at a pre-specified level, once an order is sent to the MT4 platform.

Now, the problem is that it also modifies the stop loss and take profit of the orders sent from another EA that trades for me 24/5 on another MT4 terminal (but on the same account). Is there a way to avoid it?

In other words, I'm asking if it's possible that the EA places the stop loss and take profit only on the orders manually opened but not on those automatically opened by the other EA I use.

Please let me know, thank you in advance!

I added MagicNumber option.
If you place manually, MagicNumber is set as 0.

You can set any MagicNumber but just to handle manual, use as is.
However, make sure other EA uses MagicNumber so it won't interfere.

if other EA doesn't use MagicNumber, there is no way of differentiate if that is manual or EA placed order.
