It’s late here and I really cannot be bothered but how a self confessed guru of volume trading can completely fail to understand a post on here, or in other words twist the post around to suit his own failings is really very comical, eh Rudy. NZDJPY confirmed reversal on Monday morning.

I won't place up a chart, its almost mirror image to the other 7 that have reversed.
Obviously just a coincidence like it always is! Damn those EMA's ....

Waiting on NZDUSD, GBPNZD has ranged so no interest there for the moment.

Now according to some….it’s just a MAGIC prophecy ….well to me it looks like common sense….

EURCAD first to hit long range target.

Now just waiting for the others that are running from the retail!

as horse racing pro maybe you could add some note about better risk management/money management/compound management for day trader like me.
There some note here and there as i remember my self (my personal note):

(ps started off as a short post, then i got lost lol, sorry)

In horse-racing it was a completely different kettle of fish.
After form assessments I converted my horse data into odds and I would make up MY own 'book' to 80%, where the Bookie made theirs to the public at 120%.

(if a horse market was ever made to 100% you could back every horse in the race and finish with the same money you started with regardless of which horse won)

So based on a $100 race-bet-size for example (for a 100% / $100 sum total return),
I would invest (again for example) up to $80 per race as the 80% as my total odds (usually much more $ in the good old days of horse-racing 80's, 90's lol)
and if i had the race winner in my list of bet tickets (sometimes I backed three horses per race) then I was guranteed a $100 return for an $80 outlay.
Based on MY odds, not the Bookies.

Where my advantage was, was when MY odds and the Bookies were at a sizeable variance (ie we had discernible differences & opinions on the race outcome).

I HAD to obtain "my set odds' as minimum else I did not back that horse in that race - even if it was the favourite.

But if my odds were say 2/1 (@ 33% of the 100% market)
AND the Bookie was kind enough to offer 20/1 (yep, those variances were known to happen)
then a simple-odds bet of $33 (to return the $100 as planned) had a return profit that jumped to $660 (instead of the set expectation return of $100).
These were called overlays and they were the big bonus returns that made a great difference at the end of the betting month.

There is no such odds I can formulate in Fx, based logically on any past performance, and while I looked at R:R for a while as a correlation in styles I found none.

Now in Forex, as you will have read from my prior posts, I started trading by just looking for a 5-10p area between current price and my next closest Target.
I can extend then to the 'next' Target (past the closest one)(maybe 20p) based on Market Behaviour & Market Structure
(but still nothing like I was doing in horse-racing).

Today I snagged a 10p first trade winner, while letting a 2nd trade run out to 20p this morning in Asia on GJ for 30p in total.
I traded extra as I had momentum & the direction confluence on both my 1hr & 1dy chart templates (while trading from the one min chart).
It doesn't always happen nicely like that, let me tell you, and I am always prepared for any fakes n flips (past experience lol).

After that relatively quick trade WITH the market direction this morning, taking out both my Targets,
the market flipped over against current momentum & direction and ran all the way BACK to the Daily Open Line, as a reversal .
I did not have any trades on that flip move as I was done for the morning.
Who would have thought the Daily Open Line would hold such an attraction for the Market .


Anyways, d-y, I will have a look at what you asked but I have tried before to work out money managment for forex like I did in horse-racing and couldn't (yet) sorry.

Instead I would refer you & others again to the work & charts that both Andy & Kev have posted recently

As these traders have a better handle than I do imo on Large Target distances on their charts,
And while their charts do not give answers, they certainly (imho) give clues on how markets can be approached on the bigger picture (I merely scalp).


None of what Andy, or Kev, or I post up with our charts is MAGIC LOL. (someone else thinking that could be on the 'rooms :wink)

They are merely possibilities that can be examined and/or explored by traders who are not Bound by their own viewing restrictions.


Ultimately a trader will know where (and when) to enter. And then later ALSO to be able to manage their trades, should the market do otherwise than expected.
And other traders have a much better handle than me on financial risk management.

I just "risk manage me" lol.

Magic trade update


As we all know, magic plays a major part of trading, according to one non believer.

Using magic, of the 10 charts I posted last week, that I looked for a reversal from.....

9 reversed giving excellent signal into new direction, 1 .. GN has ranged so no trade for me.

1 has reached long distance target

2 have just signaled the break into new direction and so didn't make the basket.

The rest are well on their way to long distance target which for me would be a moot point as I basket trade, protect the profit, increase subsequent new pair trades
up to my required basket profit, I'm out already, waiting for the next grouping of reversals.

No magic, with lines, with a couple of EMA's, with targets, stops, and plenty of watching trades reverse backwards over the years.

What cannot be taught is screen time ...

Disclaimer

No volume producing entity was hurt destroyed or beaten while showing the before charts, the reversal charts and the finale charts!

And not for the first time!

Nice news, but it depend on some one belief cause everything is happening at once in ALL TIMEFRAME.... may be

Just out of interest, Ryan mentions trading 3 pairs, and pipped you too the post. No harm in a little competition.
Has he started trading Forex again while waiting for the opportune moment to get back into Crypto?
Just interested as no real news from him regards daily profit, not after the Crypto drop and forex data is sh1te so volume wouldn't be the go to for analysis!
Perhaps he used structure.

If Forex has fake volume, inc Trading View, and that your data feed was fake, faulty or whatever, what was actually causing the big daily percentage gains over the last few weeks?
Just inquiring for for those interested.

And the elephant lurking in the room is, have those daily gains increased with the new data or do they match the results with the fake data?

Again just asking on behalf of the mob!
