Is not it better to ask (inform him) to possibly make changes/corrections in his "Nikolaos Pantzos" code,for to avoid more complains from others too - at his blog link/site,as far i know of him he is usually active there

Mntiwana or anyone: may you please code for me a Mt5 indicator. It's support and resistance indicator but the only difference is: it only paints the support when "open" of the down candle is 50% below the "close" of the up candle(both candles are at "support"). And paints the restance when "open" of the up candle is 50% above the "close" of the down candle(both candles are at "resistance"). Please

I choose rectangle because it's the simplest for me..
I can drag it anywhere in chart & has 2 values : long price & short price..
Using lines, we have to drag 2x

Try to build your own from scratch. Check fx1.net, they have some free libraries for graphics if you're still using mt4.

almost free stuff didn't continue supported by the author. It's free, everybody can use it and/or edit it to fit their purpose (not commercially sell it)

You really have to understand what is filling type policy. For me, i only except ORDER_FILLING_FOK. Otherwise --> return (false)
This is very..very important. if you don't specify, it will be burn you someday

If i use that, i will change the code like below :

i will specify filling type. If that symbol on that broker have other filling type policy, i refuse it.. This is to avoid partially lot executed..
FOK = Fill Or Kill, this is i can accept

MQL5 have standard library for Trade (Trade.mqh).. For opening position/order, modifying, deleting. We dont have to write code that much by using library

I teach retirees free of cost futures trading for a non-profit community organization. I have practised simple grid trading for one year for them and the results are astounding. The main advantage of grid trading is that it requires little forecasting of market direction and EA can easily be set by elderly traders like the way you have done it.
I don't teach with-the-trend trading so it suits the risk-averse retirees. I make a master grid of 50 pips with five steps of 10 pips grid and 10 pips profit (trading costs are less than 2 pips) for equity trading.. Not forex. .Within two hours the trading ends. If it ends at Top for buy for profit taken . If it ends at Bottom for buy equity loss is taken. Important is that traders enjoy it because it involves workout for their brains and not causes stress. Consolidation or range trading happens 80% of the time so ample opportunities for simple trading .
With statistics of the average length of the price path of 16000 pips per day , I chose this trading for them. Manually I have made 150 pips in 6 hours (not continous) which can easily be increased to 300 pips in a lesser time of 4 hours if EA is used.

I don't even know Excel, if you can convert it into an MT5 EA based on rectangle idea, I will have some basis to explain to professional coders easily.
MT4 platform is not permitted by regulated exchanges to trade futures. Only MT5 is allowed.
In addition to rectangle , if you can add a screen facility (like the EA I sent to you has this facility) to have varying lot (not martingale fixed lot but of different size) for Pending Order Steps. Like Top step to have 5 lots for Buy or Sell to take quick profits in the first wave of price momentum , that would be great.

If you know of any MT5 freelancer from Indonesia who can do this job, I can hire.

What TSL trailing stop, equity protector, guard program are you using? i found out very dis-appointing result on simulator you could make 6000, but the trailing program keeps only a meagre 2800 back, what is you experience with tsl? helpful

Hello guys. Can anyone please help code a simple script for averaging TP and SL of all open trades to achieve an inputted TP pips (profit).
For example, let's say the first Buy trade was taken at 1.31489 at TP 10pips. Then the trade goes into drawdown and a second Buy trade was taken at 1.31075. The script should modify the TP of the open trades to a level where the 10pips profit will still be realised. Meaning that the earlier trade will close in loss but the profit from the second trade will make up for it such that a least the 10pips profit set in the input of the script is realised.
The script should modify all Buy trades instantly as soon as a new trade comes in. The script should also do same for all Sell trades instantly as new sell positions are added.
The script should consider only Buy trades when modifying Buy side TPs and only Sell trades when modifying Sell set TP.
It should also average the inputed SLs for all opened Buy or Sell trades.
Please help code this in mq5 and also mq4 or point me in the right direction.

My humble request all master coder please create one insidebar /breakout mt4 indicator based on following condition( text and images for better idea) .thanks in advance.

The Inside Bars indicator shows Inside Bars, the Breakout Zone and Breakouts thereof. Inside Bars are an important price action pattern. The price action of an Inside Bar is completely covered by the price action of the previous bar.
Inside Bars are most often used on higher timeframes.
Settings
Inside Bars default settings are good enough most of the time. Feel free to fine tune them to your needs.

  1. ATR factor to skip large candles - very large candles should be filtered as they often cover other candles. This ATR factor filters those large candles. A large factor filters less candles, a small factor filters more candles. Experiment with this one.
  2. Breakout distance in pips - distance in pips from high and low of the previous bar for the Breakout Zone.
  3. 'Override' or 'Cancel' active Breakout Zone - 'Override' deletes the existing Breakout Zone and forms a new one if a new inside bars are found. 'Cancel' does the opposite.
  4. Use MA Trend filter - set to true to filter breakouts according to a simple MA trend dectection.
  5. Fast MA period - set the fast MA period for the trend filter.
  6. Slow MA period - set the slow MA period for the trend filter.
  7. Color Palette - pick Color Palette for 'Dark' or 'Light' Backgrounds.
  8. Colo(u)rs - you know what to do.
  9. Show Alerts - set to true to do alerts.
  10. Show Screen Alerts - set to true to show screen alerts.
  11. Email Alerts - set to true to email alerts.
  12. Push Alert Notifications - set to true to push alerts.
