That might be more wishful thinking than reality. CCP, or should we say "Big Brother", now has the modern technological tools to operate as George Orwell envisaged and the rest of the world still in love with their deflationary manufactured goods to finance it.

History has told us how dangerous for those only "ONE MAN CAN" or "ONE VOICE" political systems will bring upon, let's check the Germany and Japan during 1920~1945, they were all very modernized then, and the question is where they would move forward. Ja, I'm pretty sure that CCP will cremate itself sooner or later, but I'm afraid we all will pay our prices before it's happened if we don't take action now.

4. Bottom line is CCP is increasingly irrelevant but people are at different stages recognising the truth- mainland far behind, Taiwan, HK further along. CCP will collapse under its own weight but will take time.

Sometimes you wonder why the Chinese are so docile to allow such rubbish. So he is king Xi. Even in Africa where things usually work in a certain way, the people would get him out of there somehow, someway.

You would need to do a 180 turn, to be closer to the truth,

He and his other supporters want respect, What about the (the lack of) respect that he and his others show the world,
Take a look at Hong Kong, and its citizens, and the way they are treated.

The world is in trouble with this guy. IMHO

I do not dismiss the CCP at all. Xi is much like Putin in consolidating power internally. Xi is more capable of projecting power externally. Xi is clamping down on capitalism. How far he goes on that is an open question but concern for the citizens is no more of interest there than it is here.
