I don't know if you can add the option to create trend lines, and that when moving one of the vertices automatically the other vertex is adjusted. In such a way that the trend line remains straight horizontally.

But I think you have already made the tool quite useful as it is.

I will not consider adding that feature of auto extending, it maybe useful for people who draw support and resistance, but for people who just want to use the rectangle to draw a breakout box for eg, it would become impossible for them to use this tool if the box always extends to the right, so it is not generic. There are other considerations which are difficult to explain to a non-programmer, but mainly the tool may take up too much resources and slow down system if it always has to check to extend the rectangles whenever you shift the chart. If it is just an initial creation of rectangle to extend it to the end of the chart and not always has to adjust the rectangle whenever the chart is shifted, then it is easier, however, this will pose a problem to others who wish to use the rectangle for other purposes as I have explained earlier.


Trend lines are not supposed to be always horizontal, trend lines are used for the purpose of able to create lines of different angles, you can use the generic horizontal line icon on the MT5 to do that.

so ive gotthis indicator iliketo use, i translated it from russian myself, but i dont know how to code, thebest i got is copy paste parts of scripts together and adjust the inputs to get acceptable results, howver this onebhas me stumped. normally i have to apply this indicator like 6 or 7 times tot he same chart, theyre all namedd the same and its a bit annpyong haviong to scroll through a long list of indicators with a block of repeats inb it. i saved it to a template bt still.. convenience and RAM being the uissue here i need some help

so in the options, u pick true or false for which timeframe u want to see, then in visualization u just check whihc timeframes u want to see it in. i want tot make itso instead of true/false, the options have the higher timeframe, that way i can load the indicator on once, and pick what i want when i want it (ie. 5min timeframe instead of true and then checking the 1 min box under vis. i want it to be a dropdown list of m15 and up. etc etc so i can pic i want th 1h timeframe for exaple on any of the lower timframes, and without loading up anothe rinstance of the same indicator, just have another dropdown menmu on 1h also where day week and month are available. realisticaly, if its possible, even adding in custom high timeframes woud be nice, so i could look at the dayly timeframe by 4days for example, or half hour by3 hours etched) i thought doidn this would be so simple, but i cant find anythign witht hat code in it to copy over, probably since they all have th eoption of visibiity settings so theres no scrpt needed. but if u choose all time frames witht his one u can only switch 1 option to true or none of them work. this script compliles just fine, i even managed t clean up th e couple small errors that editor presented, but ive had absoilutely no luck getting it to allow selecable options for separate timeframes without adding it several times

Hi All,

I have the attached indicator which reflect the currency strength for the last 15 periods. I want to export the data of the indicator to csv file every 15 min. Can you please help with the script?

Hi, friend! I understand clearly. It is not convenient to make the tool take up too much resources and slow down system.
I wonder if it is possible to select a rectangle that is already drawn on the chart and, using a button, give the command to extend it to the right edge only once.
This way, the system does not have to process the extent of the rectangle every time the chart is refreshed.
therefore, the rectangles are manually selected and the order to extend it is given only once by pressing the button / command. To put it in some way, it would be semi-automatic

The idea I had in mind with the trend lines is similar.
The possibility of selecting a trend line that is already on the chart and using a button / command to give the order so that it is perfectly horizontal. Sometimes it is difficult to get it to be perfectly horizontal using the mouse click and hold


Anyway, I do not know how complex it is to implement and code it, since I have very basic programming knowledge. and I don't know many things.

In order to write a script that can do what you're asking for, one must be able to look inside the indicator for parameters/references and what's doing/working.
Only mq4 'source files' allow to edit indicator/ea/script etc...
So, unless you provide subjected mq4 file you cannot be helped

If that table is made with objects, then it can all be read, tabulated, and exported, don't need the source.

I will see if I can get it. Can a script like the attached not fetch data from the indicator? (I have attached both indicator and script)
