hello coders, can anyone help me for converting an indicator into a function that returns string value (Up Trend / Down Trend) also it uses only the H1 Time Frame (Strict it into H1 TF only). I didn't want to use iCustom. I just want to convert an indicator into a function so that I use this function in my ea for getting trends. Waiting for a reply...

I found the following EA on this forum and all it does is open a trade at specified time with TP and SL.

I have a few questions:
1. In the thread it says 40 pips but as long as I'm aware, it means 4 pips but it's written as 40 in the code, right?
2. Apparently the time specified is based on market watch (server time). If so, how can I change the code to open the trade based on computer time?
3. I couldn't get the EA working. Is there something wrong with it?

zigzag indicator

I'm looking for a ZIGZAG indicator that you can manually adjust a few wrong points

i've looked at a few so far and it seems you can adjust the step ( % ) but not the actual line --- Dynamic Trader allows this

you know, when there's a spike top before the real top and the zigzag goes to the spike top wrongly

rather than draw the lines manually, if you can adjust the occasional error would be good

Good day coders,

Please help me with my code? I want to plot my 2 buffers on 1M, 5M, 15M, 30M, 1H, 4H timeframes, using the calculation of ONLY the Daily Period.
At the moment the 2 buffers, plot the calculation on the current timeframe.

As far i know of it,the version you posted is very very old,cci atr based the old formula,even hard coded you can not change anything within it

posting one of Mladen's version from that category versions,a little extended too including mtf
try using Mladen's newest enhanced super trend indicators,there are variety of super trend by Mladem,for example,experiment,nrp,Averages,volty like,kahlers,hull,xtrend and even more variations

in first example picture,upper your one,lower Mladen's ver
in second picture,upper your one,lower H1 TF at M15 TF mladen's ver

hi

i want my indicator to work on offline charts too, is it possible to detect ''offline'' or ''online'' charts or is it to the user to input the correct type of chart?

Why always posting only .ex4 files while .mq4 extension files exist ?
We all can learn a lot from correctly written mq4 files and would be very much appreciated.

Isn't that what you did here? It was originally an mq4 file. Why did you not leave it as such?

Mostly curve and cycle type/style indicators repaints badly

what do you mean? I don't need them to draw automatically, I want to draw them myself. trend lines are not repaints, same as other graphic figures as rectangle, triangles and so on.

This is a very old indicator but it is rename. If the .MQ4 had been provided, maybe you or someone else could modify it again and not depend on a single programmer. Anyway, thanks to CJA, but I dislike this appropriation modifications. In some instances, is the price to pay.

It is an appropriation of an indicator that it is not belong to him. He is the one committing the illegality and stealing somebody else works. Now, the indicator became his modification. Clever.
In the old days newbies could find .mq4 all over the places to play with them; that kept me busy in the game.
I bet that the % of new traders was BIGGER than today.

Thanks for the mq4 file. Can you convert it into a function, I need a function for my ea I didn't want to use iCustom.
