Thanks. I think I'm starting to understand this better - ie. the fact that 5 M1 candles are needed to complete the higher TF of M5.

I think this MTF element may cause problems in what I'm trying to achieve. What I'm trying to do is this. Say you have 2 charts open. One on M1, one on M5. When the supertrend colour changes on the M5 and the candle closes. I want to go long or short on the M1 chart depending on the colour.

Now one may ask, why not just go long or short off the M5 chart, the one that has the Supertrend?

This is because I need the ATR value from the lower TF to calculate the SL and TP. Perhaps I need a MTF ATR indicator... but again the functionality may come into question due to MTF... This where I'm stuck at the moment :-(

Can you please assist me with this script/indi. I want the indi to print blue or red blocks based on that criteria. I have attempted to write it myself, but failed miserably. Pic2 have the red lines, which was suppose to be blue blocks. I will appreciate any help.

Here is my first ever request. I would appreciate if a programmer would replace the sound in the RenkoColorChangeAlarm indicator when a new Renko brick is generated by the "New Brick Up/Down" sounds instead. The 3 files are included in the zip file since .wav files cannot be uploaded in FF. Thanks in advance.

In same chart window (current TF chart) you can have 4 higher TF,when all TFs match,means telling the same trend direction (buy/sell) go accordingly - at least 2 or 3 next higher TF should match if not 4 all,but trade should be taken from current (lowest TF) chart,either buy or sell,do not go against the trend (of the higher TFs),means when higher TF telling opposite

I believes you know of its repainting behavior,no difference whatever in the name (as Mladen never put his name within indicators titles) but always give descriptive name to all his codes

Added a little more "direction" to up or to down -
As for adding sound files (wave format) - i think it do not relate to code but in window (metatrader folder as shown in example pic) sound files directory but experts can better guide/help you

In addition to mntiwana's post above which I just saw as I'm about to post this;
- alert options pop/push/email/sound
- sound file names input, note that if the popup is on, it's sound still gets played
- sound files have to be in the brokers terminal program folder, not the account terminal's data folder
- added UP/DOWN to msg

Thank you for your valuable time. You are entirely correct the 2 wave files go in the sound folder of the MT4 concerned. The sound files belong to the RenkoShade3 indicator that produce an overly Renko chart on normal charts. Unfortunately I don't have the mq4 for this indicator so I have no clue of the coding to activate the sound. You might wish to try it and you will see how it works. Since I mostly trade with Renko charts it would be nice to hear the up/down sound along with the message.
