long story short if you just want to see the vma's - go to the colour parameters figure out which are the outer bands select colour none and it will hide the outer bands if you only want the mid line

hope this is helps in some way

as mtwana said toggling interpolate to off will give you your desired stepping interpolation used to delay the signal ( confirm in my case of how i wished to use)

Hello jeanlouie, first of all thank you for taking a time to find for me an appropriate indicator it is really useful but bit complicated.

Really I will say your stuff is very simple and easy to use it, same time I can understand "Rulers" can't be modified to use it for the TP/SL may be because it needs complex calculations.

I am sure the Rulers is a very handy if you get time and come to similar thought please make it some easy tool after the trade has opened to set the TP/SL something like Rulers

If settings are changed and the button (make this: option) isn't being used then a new ruler is made, and all current rulers update.

is it possible to have a function that changes the colour of the levels so you dont have to see the label name of the level or is this not possible in mt4?

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can source a simple multipair performance dashboard/monitor?
Anything like an extended iExposure that includes the previous day profit/loss (possibly extendable to the previous 3/5 days) than if it has after that weekly and monthly p/l it is a bonus.

A combination of the two indicators below just to give an example.

im relatively sure this was spoke about few weeks and months ago and some one did an edit in this room if you scroll back wards

Hi everyone,
Please can someone help me create a semi-automated ea that takes a trade after two consecutive candles that close in the same direction using the 1 hour timeframe?

The ea doesn't need any indicator.
So I use the higher timeframe to check the trend direction and then go to the ea and select buy or sell. Then the ea will wait for 2 consecutive candles to close in the direction I chose before taking a trade.

The stoploss will be the low or high of the recent candle that closed in the direction. Also, if price hits the stoploss and goes back to the entry price, the ea will enter the trade one more time using the same stoploss price and entry price.

The ea will only consider the 1 hour candles between 5am utc and 17 pm utc.

this is an example. The chart is usd/jpy on the 4th of march 2021.

The trend was bullish on the higher timeframe, so if I go to the ea and select buy, the ea will go to the 1 hour timeframe and wait for two consecutive candles to close bullish.

The ea will then take the trade at the close to the second candle (1 in the picture), and the stoploss will be at the low of that candle (2 in the picture).

If the price had hit the stoploss, the ea will wait for the price to return to the entry price and take the trade one more time.

Also the ea should only count the one hour candles between 5am UTC and 5pm UTC

Man, I'm having fun with this indie..!!!

I am in need of two things separately, they can be one thing also :

1....on the Boxes from Open Indie, the box line levels, & the midline levels, will it be possible to display the line price on the far right egde of the screen ?

2...then, for any horisontal line I put on the screen, do you have / can you create a simple thing like a text box, where I can manually type in price / whatever, and drag that box on screen far right edge ?

If you can create / provide nr2, then cancel nr1.

This text box need to stick to the far right edge, NOT move over the screen as time goes on as the MT4 text box does.

- text box to have & fontsize & colour options

- text box needs to able to load in multiple instances.

I know MT4 has prices on right, but its not efficient for my use.
