now it gives buy and after that only sell comes.
Make it like whenever all 3 matches then it should come a signal. (like buy after buy, sell after sell)
like if comes buy and after some candles again comes buy (in between 1 indicator comes in sell and then again comes in buy)

My indicators are a tuned symphony now, thanks to your help !!!!

My execution / psych side of things, need some help :

(I have searched for a good EA to help, but nothing is as simple as I need , or no two that I can load together)

I need to get away from the MT4 BUY SELL top left flickering blue red, as well as the open terminal P&L for closing trades.

As stated before, the strategy is to scalp M1 fast, even just 8 pips, whatever the CCis show me.
I'm setting myself up to "play a game", and dont wana see the money side of it at all.

I just want to execute trades, off the info I see on the Box Open & CCis, with as less mental $ distraction as possible visible.

Please see the attached EA that helps with TP & SL levels. Im happy with this, just need some extras.

The TP & SL levels are just there for account safety, here in my country , our government is doing SUCH A GREAT JOB, power cuts are frequent & unplanned, thats the only reason for SL TP Levels pre set.

The need is for me to pre enter SL & TPs
Then LOTS LONG CLOSE SHORT buttons... thats it
If possible in this order, at the bottom of the screen , in the centre ( xy adjustment of possible)

Colours :
- just plain & simple for the buttons, my charts are on GREY background, the less emotional they are, the better, as bland as scrap paper..hehe!
- For the buttons :
Black font on Dim Gray sounds good.
- For the lines :
Entry : Lime
TP : Aqua
SL : Magenta
BE : Lime

What can be a grand add on (if you feel like it, not essential ) :

- A field to enter / alter lots
- an on screen line that shows BE level ( spread & broker comms). If its a mission to calculate, just a field I can enter a figure, for example 2 or 1,5 pts.
It is close enough for that " mental bridge"

So the final on chart horisontal bar to look like :

LOTS LONG CLOSE SHORT
( LOTS no description needed, just a value field)


Something unrelated :

I constantly page thru 4 templates, basically the three sessions & a Big Pic Market Profile.
The three sessions all the same , except for session times.
I find myself saving the wrong session on the wrong template, time & again !

Is it possible for a very simple text field, that travels in a corner of the live chart ? This way i can name each template on chart , and then that bug is dead .
OR...Can you just on the Box Open indie move the unique instance text so it travels with the live right hand side of the screen ??

1: could please someone explain how a MTF multi timeframe indicator works and how to execute it please.

Trying to understand and reply only your first inquiry
if you means a indicator applied on any chart of any TF with higher TF (any) of the indicator,for example at chart M5 you apply an indicator with H1,in general and visually it work ok as all indicators,the only difference and or a kind of issue arise it will be refreshing past history data until the completion of required last bars of the higher TF indicator - means will repaint but after completion of last bar it will not and never repaint,if coded by some reliable coder
in above example because H1 required 12 bars/candles of current M5 chart,so till last 12th bar of the belonging TF applied,its display will be relocating continuously - same if H1 TF applied on M15 chart,it will be acting same till last 4th bar - same if H1 TF applied on M30 chart,it needs 2 bars compilation for not to repaint
This is the nature of HTF (higher time frame) indicators when applied on lower TFs charts

thank you for your reply. the question was 2 separate issues.

1: how to code an MTF ma indicator. i know it is possible as you have described above but do not understand the code of MTF indicators i have looked at so i can make my own.

2: how to anchor text in a different indicator at a different point other than "Time[i]".

1 - there are different ways, generally, feed the calc the price data of the higher tf, and every lower tf candle in a higher tf period gets the same value, that's the stair-step look. Code wise for the lower/current tf use ibarshift to get the proper candle index from the higher tf to get the right mtf value for every candle, this timematches lower to higher tf, also look at other's mtf indicators, and mql5 articles about mtf
2 - think about the time parameter you're giving objmove, and the parameter you're giving the Time[]

thankyou. i was putting "Time[i+30]" and it broke the indi but "Time[30]" works. Is Time[] just the number of bars back on the chart? i thought that was Bars[].

Say there is some symbol that has 50 bars of history, the main loop in oncalc is running through all the bars, probably using index i, in timeseries direction. Now time[50] doesn't exist, indexes start from 0 and time[50+1] doesn't exist either, the earliest bar that exists is [49], and if you're starting from that number any index that is [49+ some positive number] wont exist and you'll get an array index error and the whole thing will jam up. But if you start the loop from bars-1-5, then you will start on index 44, and you'll be able to get for eg index [44+5] because it would be a valid bar index for the chart.

Time[] is a timeseries array containing the times of every candle on the chart. Bars is a predefined variable that is the number of bars on the chart. iBars() is a function that tells u the number of bars on a symbol n tf.

Label_Bars_OffSet is an integer which if positive seems to offset the text as desired. does this seem a good solution to you? ty

Dear Coders,

SL&TP Values is a great indicator (attached).
However it does not calculate SL&TP correctly when the commission is involved.
Could someone pls help me with the code and make necessary adjustments in the way that commission is added or subtracted from the lost/ profit ?
Or kindly advice me how to do it ?
Also it would be great to see a risk ratio on the TP line

Hello,

I'm looking for a script or something that will automatically set a 10 pip SL on my trade based on my entry. 1MIN timeframe.

for example:

I see a setup on the 1MIN timeframe for US30, candle closes and I enter immediately. All I press is a manual SELL or BUY with my lot size already set manually, when I enter my trade, it automatically has a SL set to 10 pips the opposite way (obviously if I'm buying the SL is under the entry, etc..). Please let me know if someone can help! Thanks!

EA not Script - SL & TP in points not pips (10 pips = 100 points) - test demo for certainty
