Somewhat better now, but let's remember that is is already quite high compared to where it was months ago... Also we had quite some holidays yesterday...
There were talks about recoveries (of economies) etc... and people were trying to ditch the gold to put in some much more lucrative investments... since gold is mainly good for preserving the wealth...
Can you afford to take that chance?

Also keep in mind Monday is another holiday in the US and UK. Commodity market liquidity is going to be dry.

Yeah, and also Eid al-Fitr, at end of Ramadan and celebration for 1-3days... so for up to the next 2 days...

I am very curious how the markets will move without those players in the market... It could go without US but UK is very strong player... in fact, the strongest... So let's see how much markets there is at all, without UK (and US)... I decided to still give it a try...
Can you afford to take that chance?

Gold right now (CME futures) is barely holding on to that $1700 support level. If it breaks we'll likely see some momentum below that level. Fundamentals don't support lower gold prices but market seems to have shifted to more of a risk-on environment.

Yeah, pretty close now... Will wait how this plays out, just in case there will be some potential correction... Will resume the market when it resumes to go up... I must say that I was/am quite happy with its rise in the past months so I do not mind some correction... I much prefer the steady (slowly but surely) rise than a sudden/quick drop and then a massive drop... which can stop many people out... I prefer steady growth so that I can apply greater leverage to it, daily.
Can you afford to take that chance?

Hm... it looks somewhat better in the last 5hours, but I will still let it develop somewhat, before I go in the market... trap chance is too big atm... Will wait at least LON times now... Also EU seems to be in happy time after about 1T funding situation so somewhat people are (at least somewhat) eased (of uncertainty), at least for now... So will stay out of gold for the next 24h... I think.

Gold recovered a little but I am extremely cautious today, since something (temp) could seriously disturb the market(s)... Too many high-profile "speeches" scheduled for today... https://www.metalsmine.com/calendar

And the GOLD market is already in stall atm.. so no tnx... Will rather preserve the profits than be sorry...

Gold right now (CME futures) is holding above the $1700 handle. We didn't see the same momentum as it did when it broke lower. It'll be interesting to see if it can hold.

Sell @1765-1768 or @1773-1775 or if h1 closes below 1753. Manage your stop losses following risk management and money management.

Please consider taking a look at my Gold Update.

I found a nice Short opportunity on the Daily chart, the retracement would also allow some more long term oriented traders to enter with the Long position later. I also provided Stops and Targets for this trade

Question:
Do you think the price will go back to below 1,750.00 or 1,800 + is the new normal for Gold?

The pattern I was looking at on Monday failed yesterday so I got stopped out of my Short position.
This is what I am looking at now. Consider taking a look at my analysis.

Analysis for Day Traders. Divergence on weekly chart, overbought on monthly chart. Day is consolidating for either resume uptrend or deep correction.
