Good Day Traders! Can I ask for a favor please?

I need help regarding an indicator consisting 2 SMA's: 34 and 55 which will give signals (short [red arrow] and long [green arrow]) when conditions are met:
Long Signal conditions:
-Time frame = M5 , SMA's must be aligned in an uptrend ( 34 is above 55 ) distance to be included if possible, preferably modifiable 0-5 pips gap from 34 and 55 SMA's
-Candle opening above or exactly on the 34 SMA (then we will proceed to M1 after finding this candle)
-Time frame = M1 , SMA's in uptrend same in M5 with 0-5 pips gap
-We are going to find the verification candle that will open and close above 34 SMA (5 to 10 previous or future candles are valid as long as the SMA's are in uptrend)
*Note: If the candle in M1 is found and the M5 candle also closed above 34 EMA, Long signal arrow should appear on the next candle. It would be best also if we can modify the number of candle areas to be set for searching the verification candles. For example, we found the candle in M5 @ 10:00H. It would be perfect if we can set that we would like to search the valid verification candle from 9:50-10:10 or 9:40-10:20 which is + - 10-20 bars/candles from 10:00 in M1 timeframe, then if it would be found between 9:50 to 10:04, the signal arrow would appear on that M1 candle then if M5 candle 10:00 will close above 34 SMA,he will give the signal arrow on 10:05 candle and the alert message will pop up for a buy signal.

Short Signal:
-Time frame = M5 , SMA's must be aligned in a downtrend ( 34 below 55 ) distance also 0-5 pips
-Candle opening below 34 SMA (then we will proceed to M1 after finding this candle)
-Time frame = M1 , SMA's in downtrend same in M5 with 0-5 pips gap
-We will be looking for the verification candle near the M5 candle with possible set up. *If the candle is found, short signal arrow will appear on the next candle in M1 and same in M5 then alert message will pop up for a sell signal.

Thank you very much for this tool Bluerain.

I think the tool v1.2l still show all symbols in market watch. There is no userlist option to set anywhere in setfile.

You mention "Also, User has choice of user provided symbols list or Auto_list" Is this autolist an extra file, we have to create somewhere?

You need to select 'USER_INPUT' option via drop down list then type in your currency pairs. Work perfect.

if you have list you use all the time, you can open source file with editor and add pair list to source file directly.
then, you don't have to type in every time - it should be ready to be used.

All you have to is to adjust the yellow part in the source file to make ready.

extern string PairsToTrade = "AUDUSD,AUDCAD,AUDCHF,AUDJPY,EURAUD,EURCAD,EURGBP,EURJPY,EURUSD,GBPJPY,GBPUSD,NZDUSD,USDCAD,USDCHF,USDJPY";

Option AUTO_LIST (default) will pull list from your MT4 Symbols list.
Option USER_LIST will use pair list in the "PairsToTrade" which you can type in or use default stored in source file.
More likely, you would store that to source file for easier loading next time.

Hi everyone,
I would like to modify a stop loss when a price has moved a distance equal to a range between order open price and stop-loss. My function works as I want, however, the ea would keep giving OrderModify error 1 because the ea would calculate on the new stop-loss level. I don't want it to happen. Does someone know how to code that stoping ea calculation after OrderModify function has executed successfully?

David Weis told me while studying charts together that the day he started drawing lines on the charts was the day he started to see trades about to happen. Maybe there is something about that manual effort put into the trading activity .

Posted are lines drawn at 00:50:30 GMT on EURJPY (30 sec after Tokyo fix). For the past few months. Interesting how price respects and gravitates towards multiple levels. I like to use ECB and London fix times for GBP pairs. Even HLC of the 15m bar during the fixing time is fun to look at. Probably easier to code that idea.

(The lettering on the chart is just for me to take note the "buy days" from the Taylor trading technique.)

I've noticed life is a lazy creature and tends to make easier whatever I do. First pancake is always hardest to make, lol. Might be if I keep plotting away something new and interesting will show up to help it become more "automated".

I am looking for MT4LevelStop-Reverse EA.
When getting up arrows must open buy and close on down arrow and the same with down arrow sell and close on buy. Trailing stop and stop loss

This would be final update with all the request implemented including Alerts criteria.
I renamed Extreams to EC on the screen. Alerts are now managed by Queue.


Since original file had version of 2.0, I added file version as 2.1.

Alerts will happen when
Alert 1: ( ATRrangePercent > AtrAlertLevel && (PIVOTvalue >= 3 || PIVOTvalue <= -5))
Alert 2: (ExtremesCount >= 3)

Please note that alert will be checked every time when timer starts ( currently every 60 sec).

But, alert will be sent only once per candle based on your settings on indicator.
if ATR is set as 5M, it will sent alert once per 5 M if condition met. (When candle closes )

Good to work on this little scanner.
I will be working on other pattern recognition indicator so I won't be working on FF request for a while.

Update 1: found a bug and fixed: Enable/disable AlertsOn for whole alerts was not working.
but, directly turn on each alerts were working. Now, it is fixed.

Need and EA coded.

EA opens a trade at the open of a new candle and closes the trade at set points along the length of the candle which is most likely 1hr – 4hr candle. There will be 2 different units of measurement for the set points – (1) pips and (2) minutes, all controlled via user input. The pips option will have a dropdown list of pips and the minutes option will have a list of minutes

japfx is using this on Daily but you might want to change a bit for shorter term.
Current settings are for daily counter trade.


Basically, he looks for extreme of ATR and RSI when Pivot level is above/below S3 or R3 on Daily when market closes.


D1 Conditions to Filter:

  1. Over extended asset at around S3 OR R3
  2. With RSI hourly at the extreme
  3. With ATR over 120%



When condition is met, counter trade at NY or London close. He says often works 90% of time.


If you are trading shorter term like 4 H, use lower Pivot like R1 or S1.
