not sure what this recent spike was about, but it's helped my silver long trade. let's keep going!

I have changed my view on this exit strategy. before I was thinking more of a take profit at x amount of time after trade. that's the wrong approach and eliminates possibilities of any further gains.

the new idea is a new breakeven stop would replace the existing stop (or just move the existing) so that risk is lowered but gains aren't capped.

silver long trade is looking good but as more time passes I find myself revisiting the same idea. nothing set in stone yet, but when an official change is made I will update the rules.

sentiment changes:

silver long just hit target. that trade put me back at all time high on the equity graph. next post will highlight strengths/weaknesses/concerns/etc of the strategy so far.

- win rate is very high.
- avg loser is higher than the avg winner so the win rate is important.
- profit factor is the best way to view those stats together.
- avg trade lasts for 32 hrs. there's no data that shows the length of holding a trade matters. I will hold off on the idea posted here.
- I need to trade gold! I haven't traded gold yet. since gold and silver move together and silver is less risky, I've gone with silver over gold. with more time gold trades are coming soon.
