Hello Coders,

I want to check if the difference between a candles high & low is above or less than a number; for that is the syntax given below correct?

(iHigh(NULL,0,0) - (iLow(NULL,0,0)) > 100

If not, could anyone please give me the correct syntax.

Hi,

I am testing an EA in Demo @ BlueBerryMarkets.

This strange order happened in EURJPY M5 Chart time around 40 minutes back. Please check the attached snapshot.

The Candle Start Time is 17:25 HRS and the Order Execution Time is 17:28 HRS.

Based on buy arrow, EA executed buy Order, that is ok. BUT look at the price at which it got executed!!

The Buy price was 115.084. The High of the Candle is 115.069.

I am so very surprised.

Please let me know how is it possible, that?

a) The Buy Trade Price is Higher than the High of the Candle?

b) Why 3-minute delay in execution of Order?

Hello!

I am reaching out in hopes that one can assist in building a dashboard for my trade explorer I am currently running.

All told, I imagine it being in table form across the pairs with three columns (one per chosen time frame. they would simply have values or colored arrows based on whether that time frame indicator is above or below a certain set of levels.

Won't bore you with too much. if this is something anyone is willing to assist, I will gladly follow up with the parameters!

- review the code in Candle Range (basically high-low candle range) or seek similar on internet - MQL4 candle size... range....etc
- perhaps, you may be looking for something like Candle Size Alert - only have .ex4 - did not know I had it until now !

Hi Phylo,

Thank you for indicators.

I also found the attached indicator on FF a while ago. I think both the indi's Range and Candle Range are doing the same thing with different presentation form.

However, both the indi's are populating values up to 4 decimals.

Any chance you can make either to populate 5 decimals, please. That would help.

Try this, something I had lying around but I included a separate hour offset for a 4HR mtf as per your request and goes to 1year. If you want 4HR candles to start at 1am, the 4hr offset would be 1, as in pic.

Candles_MTF_1MIN-1YEAR.mq4
- just a regular MTF candle painter
- TFs from 1min to yearly
- choice of start hour for what's considered a new day fore viewing under
- choice of start hour for the 4HR option
- chocie of showing vlines if you want
- choice of color for bodies and wicks

You need to provide source code mq4, not ex4.

- I am unable to help you - I am not familiar with sub window coding as, with the exception of stochastic, I avoid oscillators.
- perhaps some other coder can shed some light

Another thing you can do, from time to time when necessary, is apply Forex Sweepmod Indicator to an "Offline Chart" to see if it is different and compare later to live chart as time progresses... should be interesting results if you're into that particular indicator.

You need to add a line just below the buffer settings :

SetIndexStyle(0,DRAW_HISTOGRAM, STYLE_SOLID, 2);
SetIndexBuffer(0,ExtMapBuffer1);
IndicatorDigits(Digits);
