Gold/USD right now is bullish but the momentum is in decline. A significant horizontal resistance is around the 1664.50 area, just 120 points northwards of price action.

Yup, all about the timeframe. I have been LONG for long For LONGer timeframes... Apart from that, I am looking for daily golden entry opportunities. Plan to do much more daily buy trades soon, starting this week, should things continue to go well.

Good for you. In the last two weeks I identified a horizontal range on the W1 tf and traded intra-day within it in both directions.

Gold took a pause it seems, before moving higher (I think)... Hope it will build momentum through the easter so that we can then continue/resume with the rise, just after we get back from "holidays"...

Great, GOLD stepped up! Now there is basically easter mode already so if this persists after easter, definitely increasing my (daily) BUY positions...

At least GOLD went as it was hoped/plan_traded (compared to WTI for example)... After we (b)reach 1700, the "sky" will no longer be the limit We might even get new record...

Hi everybody, a really interesting thread and great gains have been made over the last few weeks. I'm not sure if gold will continue to rally going forward. Why do you guys think it will?

Long story short, I view this as a repeat (to some extent) as the 2009-2012 period in gold. If that’s correct gold should hit a new all time high and I think 2,300 would be a conservative target in the next couple years.

Gold right now is continuing to tread higher. $1800 looks like the next stop. As I've stressed previously, we are likely to see a prolonged rally in gold due to this crisis. It happened after 2008 and it's looking like it's happening again. Investors are seeking safety and probably will allocate a higher percentage into safer assets/lower yields for a long time to come.

Seems so After we passed 1700 (again) and somewhat stabilised it (maybe) already... now the sky is no longer the limit. We might even see 2020 this year

I mean It really took off now... But I am very curious about what end of this week or (very) beginning of next one will bring... since I believe trading will be restored much... Also some developing news.. covid, oil etc... Some countries appear to be opening up while others are in a split about open/lock... I am sure we all know what countries are we talking about So it will be very interesting to see... We might even see start/"confirmation" of a trend till summer of 2020.

Well all considering, specially other markets, gold is doing surprisingly well/stable, or exactly because of it... So looking good. Glad it is still above 1700... This week is a bit messy/swinging butI think I will start buying Monday Morning...
