I want to ask a favour. This is regarding Jason Robinson's SuperTrend indicator. He no longer writes code/programs MT4 and anyone can do what they like with his old indicators, see the link below. https://www.mql5.com/en/users/jnrtrading1 I have tried many SuperTrend indicators and Jason's seems to be the most stable. The one by PZ is unfortunately too buggy and heavy on RAM once it's applied to 10 charts going on at the same time. When flipping through the different charts the dashboard messes up and it's only after moving onto another...

what i can guess from your saying and exercising (i have not tested it yet),the mtf state stay held till the corresponding bar of higher TF form/completed but i dont know exact

M15 is our timeframe and CCI is 8
to have H1 CCI 8 value on his MTF indicator, he takes value of CCI 32 on M15 (8*4)
to have H4 CCI 8 value on his MTF indicator, he takes value of CCI 128 on M15 (8*16)
but unfortunately it doesn't work like that or MTF wouldn't exist (correct me if i'm wrong somewhere

I checked your indicator ,it works well in mtf "repainted"mode.
You can check with this other MTF CCI indicator :in "repainted" mode they have both same value.
In "interpolate" mode it has two different results (2 different calculations).
IMHO an MTF indicator must be used in "repaint" mode, and not in " interpolate" mode, which is MTF "repainted" calculated filter (average).

Since long ago i asked about the same logic/idea from Mladen (multiply numbers of bar with the corresponding HTF) and he replied,no,it is not the same and will not be an alternative

I don't care to have on my M15 graph the value of final h4 candle after 16/16 of time elapsed because it wouldn't have helped me at all to take a decision after 3/16 of time ( what is 2h15 before !)
