dear coder..
i need help
just simple indicator

1.candle number.
the numbers wiil appear after candle close..
ie tf m5..i drag indicator to specific candle..and the it will start counting 1,2,3..every next candle
just like that..
the number located below the candle..
if i let the mt4 running..the indicator will keep counting next candle..that all.
2.additional features the number can setting small or medium size and can change colour too.
3.the example just like pict i attach below..same..
but i could not find the indicator.

Give this ago.
I use this to replace PlaySound and Alert functions as they do not work in Tester "With this added to your Indicators and EA's you can now get feedback from Tester". Besides I got sick of making special .wav files.

You can download the original files from the Author Ahmed Soliman "Coders' Guru"

All you have to do is sort out your "Windows default voice" you can Google that if need be.
Make sure you copy the file "speak_b6.dll" to the MQL4 Libraries Folder.

Could you make adjustable the type of the alertsound of CheckCloseHH, CheckCloseLL for each?

Hi,

could I ask somebody to program simple EA for me please? It is based on "Trend Friend" indicator and a basic rule should be that once all indicators point into one direction then EA opens a trade (either short or long). Below is a simple description of this EA with parametres as well as indicators it should be based on.

Would appreciate somebody's help on this one.

EA Request for Hidden Multiple Pending Orders in a sequence

Hi, I hope all is well with you and you are all in good health.

In short, I am looking for an EA, Indicator or a Script that will allow me to place hidden multiple pending orders (max4orders) short and long in a sequence with different LotSizes/SL/TP levels at a Market Price and everything closed if any order hits take profit.

For example:
1st ORDER
BuyStop/BuyLimit
Lot Size: 0.01
Entry: 1.2050
Stop Loss: 1.2000
Take Profit: 1.2100

2nd ORDER
SellStop/SellLimit
Lot Size: 0.01
Entry: 1.2000
Stop Loss: 1.2050
Take Profit: 1.1950

3rd ORDER
BuyStop/BuyLimit
Lot Size: 0.10 (higher lot size)
Entry: 1.2050
Stop Loss: 1.2000
Take Profit: 1.2075 (lower take profit)

4th ORDER
SellStop/SellLimit
Lot Size: 0.20 (higher lot size)
Entry: 1.2000
Stop Loss: 1.2050
Take Profit: 1.1990 (lower take profit)

I want these triggered exactly as in the order above. So Order 3 will not be triggered until order 1 has been executed. Order 4 will not be triggered until order 2 has been triggered. Order 2,3,4 have not been triggered because order 1 has hit take profit etc. I hope you know what I mean.

If anyone knows of a program like this I would be very grateful to you.

I no longer code EA requests (reasons here), but assuming that your request is serious, I can provide some info to help you get started.

To plot a regression channel, you can use the attached code, specifically the iRegr() function at line 3034 -- more info here and here. (Thanks to pips4life for generously recoding the libraries for MQL4 build 600). Linear regression is polynomial degree 1. I used this in my PSA indicator.

You will need to call the function something like this:

double r_pips, r_slope, r_stdev, r_prc0, r_prc1;
int end_bar = iBarShift(Symbol(),required_timeframe,required_endtime);
int number_of_bars = iBarShift(Symbol(),required_timeframe,required_starttime) - end_bar;
iRegr(r_pips, r_slope, r_stdev, r_prc0, r_prc1, 1, number_of_bars, end_bar);

The returned values r_prc0 and r_prc1 are the prices at the start and end of the regression median line for the time interval. Then you'll need to calculate the highest high and lowest low (use MQL4 functions iHighest() and iLowest()), and determine which is the farthest distance across the channel from the median line (in pips) at the given time, across the time interval. Then add this value to each price point on the median line to obtain the price values for the upper and lower lines. That will give you the values to be used in any trading rules.

If you don't want to code this yourself, you would need to explain to a programmer the exact rules for entries, exits, MM, any special conditions or filters, etc, for each possible scenario. Your diagrams aren't explicit enough. There is likely several hours' worth of programming work involved. My experience with forum-requested EAs is that they are a never ending process, as clients go on refining them forever; and none of them are long term profitable (some reasons here).

Hello, I am a newbe, and I need help with an push/mail alert in the volatility indicator MT5--> https://www.mql5.com/de/code/22389
I have to attemped to create an alert indicator an base of the original indicator.
But when I compile the alert indicator I receive

thanks for the response , i do not want EA for this , i needed an indicator LRC within the last 2 sessions and not extend further ... the indicator only reset at end of session. i am sorry, for now , i don't have any knowledge about coding .

Hope all is going well.

I was wondering if you could give me some insight on a coding concept.

I learned to code a little using EA BUILDER, which made it very simple, since EA BUILDER doesn't require learning major coding meta editor terms to code, since it places things in order so to speak, which I thought to give it a try.

Which helped me a little more to understand a different side to technical indicators.

But I tried to analyze a couple of dashboards just to see how to get an "arrow" mt4 indicator to alert on the 1 minute time frame with any currency pair.

I thought it maybe easy, since I just wanted a very simple dashboard to alert just on the 1 minute timeframe.

But I didn't know what's the special line of code to insert in the custom code box that creates that dashboard effect.

With EA BUILDER, you can tweek period settings in histograms, etc., but I couldn't figure out how to get
a very simple dashboard, without entry, without take profit, without stop loss, just showing whenever the "arrow" paints
on the 1 minute of any pair.

I came across the term arrays, but I'm not sure if that's the dashboard custom coded part.

Could you please help me see what part of the code I'm missing to make a simplistic dashboard to just show a
arrow painting on the 1 minute timeframe?

I appreciate your insight, wisdom, and contributions to the forum

This is a great post Hanover. I have been involved in such a situation. At the end, when circumstances changed and I wanted to withdraw, he was not very happy and words like "traitor" being thrown around. Yet, plenty of my ideas being used, over and above all the utility functions that I have developed over the years. Zero appreciation for almost 5 years of work. If someone claims to be a Forex millionaire, yet make use of free coding services, you really need to start to question the legitimacy of such claims. I hope others will learn from this and be more careful than I was.
