So.... what a day!

After doing my analysis and confirming a sell, Gold decided to play around with me. Went into DD and then added more sells as I was confident in my analysis and then finally it behaved and reversed.

From my end I took profit too early I think, and I probably could have taken a lot more, but secured +4.4% for today.

But, little bit risky, XAUUSD could have gone up and up today, But the banks manipulation it.

You know with this kind of approach it is very high risk trading and making 5% a day when most big HF are trying to do that in a month is very high risk. In my personal account if I make 5% in a week I'm happy!

With higher risk trading it leaves not much room to move and in a strong move against your position, margin can run out quick, that's why your analysis needs to be spot on and you need to be very confident in your strategy.

I'm not a professional trader, but I do trust my strategy and I am confident, and take each day as it comes and hopefully if things continue as they are I'll finish this challenge before December.

Can you explain what is KC? You mean Keltner channel? If so I don't use it I use a nrp TMA as shared here.

Oh and I don't make trading decisions based off of the TMA, I use it more as a visual guide to help get an overall view of the main trend, I mainly look at price and market structure to make trading confirmations.

No trading today.

Was out most of the day and missed the nice bullish on Gold move a few hours ago. No stress as I am ahead this month so missing a day is not a bad thing plus its to be expected.

my guess you ll get only to -say -10 K and then you ll get huge resistance
you run live account
so your broker will not be pleased at all

did you take this into account while composing your plans?

The solution, in case the broker comes to disrupt the negotiations, may be the division of the capital in other brokers.

So I wasn't really planning on trading today as Friday's can be unpredictable, but after seeing the NY push I knew there would be a pullback so I took a quick scalp to add +2.9% to the account.

I'm a few days ahead of schedule which is good to know for those days that I don't trade.

FEBRUARY COMPLETED!


Today I completed the 2nd month successfully achieving +300% and I still have a 8 days left to spare

I'll now move onto the next month of March, and for the rest if the month I'll only trade IF I see some good opportunities.

This month has been another personal learning experience for me as I made some hasty decisions which put me in some unneeded situations of DD although I did recover and make a profit. Having patience has been the biggest learning curve for me, and I need to work more on this.

That being said its been a successful month overall and I found some good opportunities allowing me to complete the month ahead of schedule.

interesting that you traded counter-trend and lucky enough to recover. Counter -trend got me into big trouble.
