or just keep saying the trade talks are going really well every day (even though it's total nonsense) until re-election of Trump. You look at what is going on behind the scenes the Fed are pumping in liquidity at the same pace as the depth of the financial crisis, the markets are a good 10% higher than the all time record high when there wasn't a liquidity crisis or a trade war. I'm still 50% invested but it's scary this could go bid down at any time.

Let's be honest here I can bet my last $ that Trump won't allow a no deal headline to loom over for long. So we will either get a partial trade deal aka phase one which means nothing just to quiet the markets or we just kick the can down the road and say both sides are making progress. I'll come back to revisit this comment at the end of the week.

In reality both side know that deal must be done. But working out details... If US was much bigger power then China, deal would have been done in my view.

Yes there are poverty in any country, but percentage difference btw two countries are shocking incase you did not know. Current time, US can do with out Chines exports... albit paying higher price, but if China can not sell to US... it would be end of time for them.

China has 1.5 billion people and USA about 400millions If China make 1/3 population with similar purchase power as in USA and having much bigger its own consumer population ( all 1.5 billion) then china can easily exceed USA and be in driver seat...
Firstly think about the millions living below poverty .
